2methyl's first full length album is both a feast for the dancefloor and an example of creativity. Following the "Orb" EP, "Layer 8" is a hard, fast album of futuristic dark drum'n'bass. But it is also an example of how to bring this genre forward while staying true to its energy. Very complex and detailed, the nine tracks of this album play with the rules of modern day's drum'n'bass and burst out of their restraints, resulting in an album whose horizon is beyond the dancefloor and which impresses by its magnitude and originality. Parasite is a duo of producers from Germany who have evolved from Dubstep enthusiasts into one of the leading acts in the Halfstep scene.

Their musical journey began in 2006 when Chris and Niels joined forces under the Dutty Dubz project, focused on Dubstep. They quickly gained recognition with releases on notable labels such as Wheel & Deal Records and Soul Shakerz, founded by J:Kenzo.

Driven by their passion for dark and atmospheric music, they embarked on a quest for a unique sound. This creative evolution led to an increase in tempo and the birth of Parasite in 2013.

We are thrilled to present their new four-track EP, supported by Akinsa and Redlum.
