As the rather awful version I had recorded of this on my phone pre-Soundcloud has been listened to more than 150 times I felt I ought to record a slightly (only slightly) more serious take on it.  It owes more to ZZ Top than Zwan's cover of the same song, but thank you Mr Corgan for the germ of the idea.

One of my favourite songs from one of my go-to albums - although I'm aware of where Lyndsey Buckingham was (emotionally) when he wrote it that's not the reason why. So many songs on Rumours are surprisingly upbeat considering what they're about.  So here is my homage to the ballad of Lyndsey & Stevie's breakup from his perspective. I recorded this 2 years ago when I discovered that the light at the end of my tunnel had been extinguished. It's been private until now as it was all too raw at the time, but I feel I am able to share it as part of moving on with my life. Things do get better, I just couldn't see it at the time as I desperately sought to understand what went wrong. I never found out but I can't keep looking back. Forward is much more exciting.
