Berlin’s Just_Me launches the wax wing of his new label Interkom Records with Backspin EP - a four-track statement that doesn’t just flex the catalogue number but locks in a full 360 snapshot of the sound he’s been quietly shaping for over a decade: part house, part tech, part electro daydream, part garage-tinted flashback. All functional, no filler.

The A-side opener “Spare Beat” sets the tone with a grin and a shuffle - snappy percussion and a rolling bassline that could’ve been ripped straight from a hazy ‘90s basement but lands perfectly in a room full of modern heads. Twisted pads, clever breakdowns, and echo-laced vocal flickers round it out. It’s a groove that moves and teases at once - equal parts warm-up and secret weapon for the right floor.
