La musica può essere un mezzo di liberazione, ma solo se concepita come forma d'arte, priva degli stereotipi dettati dal mercato e dalla velocità imposta dai social media.
Per sconfiggere questo inganno Lady Maru fa una netta distinzione tra la rabbia espressa in cassa dritta, figlia delle rivolte e delle manifestazioni di ideali politici, e ciò che il mercato musicale detta. 
La sua idea è molto chiara, in questo podcast ascolteremo ed esploreremo la visione della musica techno come strumento di rivoluzione (RAVE-O-LUTION). 
Lady Maru esprime il suo dissenso sociale e politico, ironizzando l'abbandono delle istituzioni verso la popolazione ed il territorio. La Techno come linguaggio universale, che ha come scopo quello di valorizzare il posto in cui viviamo, remando contro la decadenza dei nostri giorni.

RAMKKA (@ramkka) is a DJ and producer from a small town in Ireland that has been fascinated with techno since he was a teenager. His love for the genre developed after seeing Dave Clarke many years ago and he has been DJing since then with his production career coming more recently. His brand of techno is dark, hypnotic and driving and he states DJs like Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fautzi and Bas Mooy as his inspirations. His first EP was released earlier this year on Spanish industrial label Truc Records followed by a track on heavyweight UK techno label Taro Records with another 2 3-track EPs on the way alongside other remixes and tracks which have also been signed by labels across Europe.

This is an album about black stars casting shadows on the present. Just like we can’t see if a dead star a million lightyears away is already dead, we can’t see if the future we have set our sights on actually exists. Becoming an artist and taking the risk associated with such a ludicrous, inadvisable and uneconomic „Lebensentwurf“ makes you constantly question your life’s choices and consider other paths you could have gone. But therein also lies the beauty and the greatest power of the artist. The pondering of eventualities is as important to successful art as any muse or idol. At least for me. The never-ending melancholy, the fear of failure and the boundless joy experienced during the creative process provide the artist with a new color for every day and a new melody for every night. Most of the time it is hard to separate the joy from sadness and the hope from despair. 

I worked on this album for the past 18 months and I have never made something that is such a concrete manifestation of my state of mind and a portrayal of my way of life. And while this is my darkest album since ‚Sondersensor‘, I also wanted it to be accessible and easy to dance to. This is a portrait of the artist as a young man and the backdrop is the urban dreamscape of a city that is eerily similar to the one I live in. The sound is dirty, urban and melancholic – the beats are simple and the textures are rich. In a way, this is the album I have always wanted to make. A culmination of the intensities and moods of the past two years. These moods will never disappear from my music but here they distilled to their clearest expression yet.
