The lads been having an absolute mental year releasing tracks on some of the hottest labels in the tech house world such as Elrow, Viva, and Cr2; all while gaining support from some of the biggest names in the industry. Needless to say, Franky's a fucking badass and we know he's going to continue to dominate the scene with his passion for creating bangers. In for the next addition to the ever growing Formatik Records roster is KURED, a project on the rise which has been heavily backed by Toolroom throughout the past months. Run by House Music-mastermind Eddie Thoneick who's been a staple on the scene for more than 15 years now we see KURED provide some serious heat for club nights all over the world.

Opening with the EP's title track "Blazing" we're immediately sucked in by KURED's masterly crafted grooves that combine a massive portion of electronic ultraphonk with Ragga-infused chants, one of the most recognizable samples used and abused within the Drum'n'Bass / Breakbeat-scene and a bouncy TechHouse foundation for all heaving crowds and vibing bigroom raves on fire.

Furthermore "FLMF", the second cut on this digital single, brings forth a slightly deeper take on the TechHouse genre, revealing the tool'ish, yet ultrafunctional side of KURED's work whilst gravitating to the MinimalTechno-infused side of the genre. Stripped down to the bare essentials this one is pure vibes for experienced DJs,.

The young Spanish artist Miguel Bastida has all the skills to become a great producer.

His production is a sure delight and all is aimed at the dance floor with the precision of an electronic blacksmith.

  "Granos De Arena" is a jumpy funky affair with a bassline as massive as the wire of a suspension bridge.

Its percussion is as sleazy and liquid as the percussion of the famous Robotman on Definitive a long time ago, one of the great Traum favourites in terms of groove programming. "Granos De Arena" is elegant but at the same time impressively hefty.

  "Katum" is equally genius when it come to hi-end recording plus production but goes style wise slightly more into the direction of classic house music by using snippets of looped vocals. Great pace, great overview in terms of the development of the arrangement.

  "Molecules" is a bit more of a raw and roughed up track feeling wise, certainly not recording wise, since this one is also high class.

For the DJs who prefer the melodic parts restricted to the breaks, we have added an alternative (Melodic Interpretation) mix of "Molecules".

With Kalamita's releases on Cr2, Kinetika and Panterre Musique and Fontaine's on Kevin McKay's renowned Glasgow Underground, they now join forces for a fresh and thumping two-tracker.
'It's Nothing' opens with rubbery kicks, flying perc hits, swinging tambourines and an infectious vocal hook that adds a layer of groove to the rhythm.
