2U4U are not your prototypical hip-hop collective. The group’s original members ATMA and My Rugema met in school, bonded over the intricacies of music production, particularly on classics such as Baduizm and D’Angelo’s Voodoo. They spent their free time crafting beats they imagined would alter the hip-hop landscape; they weren’t from London, Bristol or Manchester – cities renowned for exporting musical sui generis – they hail from Rugby. Now with the addition of Ranbir, ATMA's brother, they create genre-bending hip-hop for the ages.
