This is a melodic selection of my favorite tracks from the last 6 months. With all these tracks I had some special moments: in the club while playing, at home while working, in my car while driving. Tracks you have in your mind when you go to bed or when you wake up in the morning. These moments you can´t touch, but you will never forget them!

Mixing a podcast is not the hardest job. We all know that. Due to the mass of music released every week it´s quite easy to find functional tracks for an hour of music. 

But I wanted to do something special this time. Collecting music for a studio podcast is different to what you´re looking for to playing in clubs. So I was looking for some heartbreakers and that really took me a while. 

There is so much music which never reached the charts but was made by great artists, great minds. It´s the artistic way of producing music which makes it special. And that´s the simple story behind the name "Great Minds Think Alike".

A beach, temperature of about 25 degrees, clear sky, cold drinks, an amazing crowd and a fantastic sound system - that´s all you need for a fantastic night outdoor. 

What a night to remember when I was playing in Batumi / Georgia. This was the night when the coup happened in Turkey. Afterwards all airports and borders were closed but lucky me caught some flights back to Europe two days after.

Well, here´s the mix. I hope you´ll enjoy it.

My DJ set - live recorded in Toulouse, 20 July 2019

I was asked recently if I'm always playing the same tracks during weeks and I was thinking about this question. Well, of course not. But it depends! As a DJ you are flexible and can play whatever you want, however your mood is. But I'm not changing my playlist 100% every weekend. So it's always like this: few new tracks were added to my playlist, few tracks went out. For this gig in Toulouse I had the pleasure to play the sunset. So I started with melodic and deep tracks, ending with more progressive and dark stuff. Finally it's all about how I feel it. 

Just a little insight. :-)
