I recently competed with this song on metapop. Didn't win a price, although was very confident regarding this production. But it was a nice experience and i must say that i like the synthwave genre. Bringing me back to J.M.Jarre and the likes. Let me know what you think and how you experience this song.

Reviving an old tale in an electronic fashion. 

Chopin - "Black Key" Etude, Op.10, No.3

I increased the tempo to 126 BPM, in order to make the song have a stronger drive. I kept the remix in the same mode and key. Changed the vocals in pitch to make the whole atmosphere darker. Used different stems ( all drum samples, resampled the drums to change the rhythm here and there. Synth lead ( and layered it with 2 sounds), Synth Arp ( layered with another sound ) Used all atmos files ( layered them with Piano Noir, Equator pad and an Analog sound emulation created in Serum ) Used both violin samples and the Shifted FX). Remade the kick,  Sound designed the melody, arps, bass, deep bass and rhythms. Made some sounds close to the original, but with it's own character and layered different other parts. Added a groove in the correct key to energize parts. And " shifted with different parts here and there.

Here i focused mainly on the athmospere, while the beat is irregular glitched and disturbing. But now and then comes together with the main stream.

I have been working on different projects last year. Had a lot of ideas, but didn't finish much. So, i decided to start finishing more songs while i develop my skills. I think i am getting closer, finding my own style. But there is still room for improvement. So, if anyone has any tip's or criticism i can use to improve upon. Please let me know, i will take it into consideration and it would be much appreciated. :D
