This idea was conceived back in early 2019, during that period of time where it was popular to just have "Megalovania" in your AU because UT:HH did it. I'd say it serves a purpose here, as it's an homage to Toadie's famous project "Sans Undertale: Barricaded." In their final battle, they embody Sans one last time.

Believe it or not, this is not the Megalo. It's the Another Medium. The Hotland replacement was Auiel, a representation of AU Hell. Since AU Hell was formerly the Storyshift Discord, an original Storyshift Megalo was gonna be used for the lead, and the choice made ended up being Zenith. Some people will likely take issue with the song sounding so Megalo-ish, but eh. I'm already putting this thing to bed, I might as well stop caring for a moment what people think about my work. Regardless, Darwin did an amazing job with this and that's a fact. I've been excited for this one to be made ever since the AU began, and it came out just as good as I wanted it to. Thanks Darwin.

Also, sorry we've gone so far off schedule. We've still got a hefty number of tracks planned, but there's been some scheduling issues in the art department. Hopefully it will all still be done by the 18th, but if not, we'll keep going until everything planned for this month is finally released. And yes, that includes the one track that people care about.

Yeah, so the AU's third anniversary has come and gone, and we've basically thrown our schedule to the wind. We're still gonna release the rest of the sendoff stuff, dunno how long it's gonna take though. Eventually though, everything we wanted to send this AU off with will be out, and then that will be it. Quick section breakdown:
1. A typical ASGORE-centric section
2. A section utilizing a motif from the scrapped OFF spinoff, ARMAGEDDON. This is the section that sounds kinda eerie, and also uses Definition of Integrity. The spinoff was centered around Dusty and Ellem.
3. A medley of motifs from the high-ranking members of Auniva's Royal Council, with Dorked's "Misunderstandings" as the base since she's Toriel. Consider this the "Heartache section."
4. An Argenos section that utilizes a Slick motif, a Toadie motif, and a Callie motif, since we're a special Trinity in and out of the AU.
5. A "Determination section" reprising Can't Fix the Past.
6. A bit using Staying Positive, the Slick theme that plays during the Callie date.
7. A little sliver of a Callie motif at the end because she's Undyne and the Callie/Slick dynamic in 3WS is similar to the Undyne/Asgore dynamic in UT.

Meet Faust (@kompletekrysysofficial), the Asriel replacement. Yep, he was the Asriel role (and therefore Sketch) from the beginning. Some people figured that out already, some people did. Why this choice was made is barely relevant anymore. But in the context of the story, he was slain during the conflict surrounding the Great Divide, but with the desperate help of some friends he was partially revived in the form of Sketch, only this form made him spiteful and vindictive. Now, with the power of everyone in the Community absorbed, he can return properly.

So. This is where I give my sappy final goodbyes to this thing. To clarify to anyone who doesn't already know, this has nothing to do with "leaving Undertale" or anything crazy like that. It's just the long-overdue end of this particular project, something which gets me rather emotional.
I just wanna thank everyone who gave me the time of day throughout this process. Whether you loved it or hated it, or were completely ambivalent but supported me anyway...I appreciate all of it. When I made this in 2018 I was a complete nobody, and I viewed the big people in the community as celebrities. But I was treated with so much love and respect, and it made me realize that we're all just normal people who deserve celebration just as much as the next guy. It is because of this project that I am where I am today, for better and for worse. I'm so happy for the friends I've made and the experiences I've had, the connections I've built and the ways that I've grown. I am SO GLAD to finally put this up. This was actually done in late 2019, but I wanted to wait on the art and the Nyeh being finished, and it ended up taking…longer than expected. Before you comment on it sounding like a Death by Glamour, the inspiration was actually Sonic Mania’s Ruby Delusions. JLucher really nailed that style, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
