Zusammen mit dem afrikanischen Sänger und Gitarristen Tibau Tavares haben Pupkulies & Rebecca hier eine exotische Wundertüte voller stampfender Grooves, lebhafter Akkorde und eingängiger Vocals gepackt. Der Titel Saude bringt all das auf den Punkt, was während der Auftritte des Trios immer wieder enthemmte Entzückung provoziert. Nämlich einen einzigartigen Sound, der raffiniert das Live-Gefühl einer Band mit treibender elektronischer Tanzmusik kombiniert. Und der entspricht wiederum genau dem Beuteraster von Eule:nhaupt & Molle:nhauer. Das tropische Trommeln und die Samba-Pfeifen ihres Remix passen sich klanglich ganz wunderbar um die markanten Vocals und schieben den Titel mit energischem Schwung ganz weit nach vorne. Die dazugehörige Radio-Version reduziert diesen Ansatz auf sein wirksames Prinzip. Im Alleingang steuert Mollono.Bass zusätzlich einen Remix bei, in dem er die wolkenlose Stimmung des Originals mit seinem unterschwellig zwingenden Groove in die Zange nimmt.

Pupkulies & Rebecca joined forces with African singer and guitarist Tibau Tavares to deliver this exotic groove cocktail full stomping rhythms, sparkling chords and catchy vocals. The title Saude puts in a nutshell all the elements that make the gigs of the trio a rousing listening experience full of exciting twists and turns. These elements draw their power from both the energetic live feeling of a band and the dance floor boost of electronic beats.  A mixture that is obviously very compatible with the musical approach of Eule:nhaupt & Molle:nhauer. The tropical drums and samba whistles of their remix are a perfect match for the striking vocals of the original version, adding a proper dose of floorward drive. This principle is reduced to the maximum in an additional Radio-Version. Also there is a Mollono.Bass remix that embeds the cloudless mood of Saude into a perfidious groove understatement.

Wenn wir keine Fragen mehr haben und uns die Antworten zugeflogen kommen, wenn der nächste Schritt die natürlichste Sache der Welt ist: Manche nennen das Glück, Mark Brainford und Joe Fisher nennen es Flow: Melodischer Techno voller oszillierender Details und pulsierender Portale durch den ein verträumtes Vocal schwebt. Im Remix von Mono&Kusten geht die Sonne auf, dementsprechend warm und hell fühlt sich diese Version an. Die trancigen Synthie-Linien und modulierenden Arpeggios von Lume schlängeln sich zwischen dem Krachen der Snare hindurch und zeichnen dabei das flimmernde Bild eines Festival-Dancefloors. It’s the music of the space that extends between oceans and mountain slopes. It’s the music of the space that is much bigger and much more adventurous than the four walls of a club look like. It’s the latest record on Acker, and it orbits around a song from Il Civetto. The band from Berlin is a wonderfully multicultural bunch. Their sound is reminiscent of Gypsy, Folk or Swing, but at the same time it doesn’t really fit any of these labels. Liberté Ana is a perfect example. Monolink turns this track into a groovy Downbeat tune that vibrates much higher than its low BPM count - the perfect soundtrack for laid-back afternoons or afterhours. PopHop does what he does best: Party. However, between the catchy bassline and the tight percussions of his remix there’s still a lot of space for the soul of Liberté Ana. Umami goes even further and creates an ecstatic banger that has everything it takes to be played during the prime time on the dance floor.

A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

sometimes he send us on a fluorescent roller coaster ride through the bends of our brain: Mollono.Bass creates a world of sound that has many different climate zones. Their sound has been influenced by the SOS parties, and at the same time their sound has inspired us - just like this collection of music will do in the future. The sophisticated raciness of Dole & Kom is always a fascinating thing to witness. Their title ‘Samoja’ means serious business in terms of beats, bass and the resulting danceability. The playful instrumentations and afro vocal part of this title create a very musical counterpart. ‘Juniper’, their streamlined second track on this EP, follows a trajectory that clearly aims at a good time on the dancefloor while its mighty hypnotic potential remains hovering in the background like an otherworldly presence. Variation is always good and that's why there's two remixes, as well: Mollono.Bass with an energetic departure and Elfenberg with a tribalistic flow experience.

Dolph takes us on a joyride under the wide musical horizon that is so typical for him, using an ambling groove and the power of musical warmth as a means of propulsion. In his track Into he sends a colorful carpet of harmonic fragments drifting on the subtle flow of the rhythm, arranging and rearranging on the soft undulations of the bass like a kaleidoscopic narrative. It comes with two remixes, each picking up one of the two prevailing moods of this title: Lukas Endhardt puts a focus on the dreamy aspects, creating an idyllic Downbeat version. Toni Haupt on the other hand aims at the dancefloor and accordingly provides a solid dose of boost and pressure. Then there's the programmatic title Constant Change that keeps morphing into ever new shapes and atmospheres, making it a very stimulating affair on all different levels of the production.

Instead of just peppering his music with samples, Dandara translates the rhythmic vibes of Latin America directly into his synthetic groove. Pororoca sends a feeling of Cumbia to your dancing feet through the backdoor of your unconscious mind – whereas the expressive voice of the singer and the laid-back bass have quite an obvious effect. Quiero is build around the same formula, but clearly aims at the prime time of a party. The same goes for the housey warmth of the Mollono.Bass remix. Pophop sounds very musical this time, almost song-like, making his remix a great match for both big and small sound systems. The escalating ecstasy that is unmistakably the work of Herrhausen & Treindl turns Pororoca into a piece of trancey playfulness. Finally there's Timoletti with his tropical drums, his fractalized echoes, and his uplifting vibe of the open airs.

Kein Wunder, dass da-bei letztendlich Reisemusik vom Feinsten herausgekommen ist. Seine mystischen Flächen, Flötenklän-ge und von Wüstenstaub angehauchten Saiteninstrumente erzeugen einen meditativen Fluss. Im Rhythmusbereich rufen archaische Perkussions und fettleibige Bässe einen gedankenverlorenen Bewe-gungsdrang hervor, in dessen zeitloser Ur-Energie die Stimmung eines Rituals brodelt. Die drei Tracks auf dieser EP funktionieren wie die Kapitel einer Geschichte: Sie haben die gleiche Seele, bringen aber jeweils eine andere Seite zum Ausdruck.

The evolution of Solidmind took the German producer through genres like Deep House and Afro House, through oriental obscurities and melodic meshings. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that his productions take us on a trip. His mythical pads, his flute sounds and the desert dust that swirls around the chords of his string instrument create a deeply meditative vibe. The rhythm section is heavy on archaic percussions and heavy on the bass, causing an involuntary itch to get moving as if we were caught by a compelling primal energy. The three tracks on this EP are like the chapters of a story: They share the very same soul, but each one gives expression to a different aspect of it.
