Die erste EP von Blindsymth nennt sich „Secret Walls“ und ist zugleich das Debütrelease des Labels Cosmic Society. Der Track basiert auf Samples, die Blindsmyth in einem Bunker aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg, in seiner Heimatstadt Schweinfurt für einen Improauftritt aufgenommen und zu elektronischen Drumsets verarbeitet hat. Zu seiner Inspiration sagt Blindsmyth: „Jeder Mensch trägt in sich eine Art Bunker, in dem er seine tiefsten Gefühle versteckt, vor sich selbst oder vor anderen Menschen..“

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.

Our 15th-anniversary gift is a nod to the evolution of Stil vor Talent: we present two 11 track compilations that will scratch every musical itch. From the downright dirty dancefloor bangers to the gentler melancholic tracks more suited to the day-after-the-nights before,

The table is laid, the scene is set to continue our ode to the evolution of dance music and celebrate fifteen years of Stil vor Talent.

Part 2 of our anniversary compilation sees the somewhat elusive, always euphoric Deorbiting kick off proceedings with Spaziergang Im All, a gleaming serenade of scales meandering through a field of glinty melodic techno.

Newcomer to the Stil vor Talent fold is Berlin techno composer Tim Engelhardt, who hits all the high notes and adds a dash of exotic tropicalia with A Million Sunsets.

Mysterious Swedish duo Elfenberg have graced the decks at many of our festivals and parties, and we just cant stop loving the steady groove of the movement filled, driving soundscapes of Danny.

Elif offers us a taste of her self-taught, nomadic style of music as medicine with Entaglement, a slow-burning story told with beats and sound.

pølaroit kick it out of the park with Bound to Each Other, a melodic uptempo affair featuring the sublime vocals of HRRSN.

A deep bow to label founder Oliver Koletzki, who has carried forth the vision of Stil vor Talent to create an ever-growing coterie of music aficionados, offering them the support and the platform to share their styles and talents with the world.ose of youthful sass to the mix, sprinkling in layers of texture to create a lively, organic vibe, setting the tone for the rest of the album.

Swiss artist Kellerkinds characteristic soulful house meets the collective enthusiasm of Township Rebellion to create Bird Vision, a slowly building, heavy-hitting cut which melts into high-tech aural sorcery.

Adding a dash of her very own nu-rave vibes, Deer Jade takes us into a groove portal with the mystical melodies and spaced-out sound of Let Go.

Rising star Yetti Meissner presents her first-ever release: Nadir. Its deep, its dark and its safe to say that her energetic, gritty style of pure techno will shake the foundations.

Oder um es präziser zu sagen: sie lassen sich ihre Tagesgarderobe in schnittige Ganzkörpertrikotagen umnähen. Die Nächte werden hoffentlich bald wider länger und so eine Trikotage für die Nacht muss hohen Ansprüchen gerecht werden! Schweiß muss abtransportiert werden, frische Luft muss an all die wichtigen Stellen und der Bass muss durch die Faser drücken. Mollono.Bass und Stephan Zovsky haben sich ihre Fingerhüte aufgesetzt und aerodynamische Outfits genäht. Mollono.Bass lehnt sich mit lassiv geöffneter Kunstlederjacke an die Wand und wischt sich mit dem Stielkamm die Locken aus den Augen. „Wenn man Synthpop zitiert, dann muss das sitzen!!!“ raunt er der Dame mit Dauerwelle zu, bevor er sich mit lockerer Hüfte auf den Dancefloor schiebt um seine Version des Dave Dances zu präsentieren. Er nimmt mit geschlossenen Augen den Beat an die Hand um im Duo Herzen stehlen. Der Synth wird präzise angeschlagen so das es poppt ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein! Stephan Zovskys Version des Tracks schiebt die Vocals einmal quer durchs Kühlhaus. Die Räder des Wagens knarren durch die langen und mit flirrenden Lampen be - setzten Gänge. Irgendwo im Keller hat Stephan einen Schlüssel gefunden. Er will die Vocals befreien. Die Stimmung kocht hoch, die Span - nung steigt. Es rennt noch jemand durch die Gänge. Freund oder Feind? Keine Ahnung! Der Schnitt wird hektischer. Kurz bevor der Ver - folger zugreifen kann öffnet sich die Tür: draußen ists warm, die Sonne brüllt vom Himmel und es gibt vegane Eiskreme!

Sweat has to be transported away, fresh air has to be in all the right places and the bass has to push through the fibers. Mollono.Bass and Stephan Zovsky put on their thimbles and sewed some aero - dynamic outfits. Mollono.Bass leans against the wall with his faux leather jacket loosely open and wipes curls out of his eyes with the comb. "If you quote Synthpop, then it has to be right!" He whispers to the lady with a perm before he pushes himself onto the dance floor to present his version of a Dave Dance. With his eyes closed, he takes the beat by the hand to steal hearts as a duo. The synth is struck precisely so that it pops without being too intrusive! Stephan Zovsky's version of the track pushes the vocals across the cold store. The car's wheels creak through the long corridors filled with flickering lamps. Stephan found a key somewhere in the basement. He wants to free the vocals. The mood is boiling, the tension rises. Someone else is running through the corridors. Friend or foe? No idea! The cut becomes more hectic. The door opens shortly before the pursuer can gain access: it's warm outside, the sun is roaring from the sky and there is vegan ice cream.

2k20. What a year so far. We, the crew at the Hive Audio label offices, are pretty much certain that absolutely nothing rolled out as planned for anyone around the globe this year and that there hasn't been much time or opportunity for celebration for anyone out there in the electronic music community or beyond either – even though we had different things in mind, especially in regards of our 10 years anniversary as a label which we already heralded with the quadruple EP series „The First Ten Years“ rolled out equally through Hive Audio and its recently launched offspring Hive Audio Dark earlier this year.
