House of Hustle is proud to present our Two Tails' debut album "Vicky”. When James pitched us the idea, we were immediately intrigued. Throughout the years he has consistently brought us quality tunes, and we are happy to say, this 13-track album, never dips below the quality we've come to expect from him.

In fact, James blew us away, with the sheer quality he managed to compile on "Vicky." The pandemic turned out to be a catalyst for James. Whilst one track existed before the pandemic, the other 12 were fully produced during the lockdown, a great way to make the most out of a time of global uncertainty. The album includes a number of exciting collaborations with talented artists such as Anna Brinckmann, Colossi Rah, Hot Pot, Aylene, CARZi, Contribe, Lucy Knox, ChrisKhaos and Story Of One. Each of them brings a unique flavor to this gem of a production.

‘Vicky’ certainly is a testament to James' versatility, productivity and quality as a producer. The balance between tracks that explore the boundaries of electronic music, and the surefire bassy bangers that are present on "Vicky", make this an easy pickup. With festival season well and truly upon us and the UK’s appetite for ferocious bass music growing stronger by the second, we are very excited to continue supplying the menu with scrumptious creations such as the one we have lined up for you next. We are absolutely buzzing to welcome the thunderous combination of both Spence and 1997, who have teamed up to unleash a behemoth bassy belter, taking the title ‘Break’.

This one works like a cascade of icy synthesiser designs being let loose to sizzle across a cliff-edge as bulbous LFO instrumentation and seriously well sharpened drum designs are laid down in a fearsome combo. The whole arrangement has a call and respond-like feel, giving the listener an insatiable appetite to move, making this a must have for any festival goer or performer this summer season.

In October 2013, Tik&Borrow put on their first event in Leeds, before moving the events to Sheffield the following summer and launching the label. Ten rotations around the sun later and to celebrate the big 1-0, we have pulled together artists old and new from the In:flux Audio family to present 15 tracks of dubstep and 140 goodness.

Kicking off the compilation we have 4 artists who've been with us since the beginning in 1point5, Dr Oscillator, Pelikann, and Tik&Borrow, with Saraphim mixing in amongst the stalwarts with their first original track on the label. We welcome imakemusicbtw for his first solo outing with Max on vocals, plus label regulars Fork and Knife, Dystinkt and Qwirk doing what they do best, before the welcome return of Nomia following his EP in 2022.

For the run in No Remorse is back, RDubz debuts on the label ahead of his forthcoming EP in 2024 and Delta brings Fome along for the ride. We welcome another 'Free Dubstep' alumni in RUFUS! back to the label for the first time since 2021 before we close out proceedings with S3 Dub's trap inspired track 'Knight', the perfect closer to this compilation!

In the summer of 2013 when we had this idea, we never really knew what it would become. We are proud to have made it to this milestone with such an amazing bunch of producers that we get to call mates. We hope you've had as much fun as us these past 10 years and we look forward to showing you what we've got planned for the future!

As a label, Punks have been one of the most consistent outlets for bass and breaks music throughout the entirety of 2018, constantly providing the scene with original creativity within their releases, always moving forward into exciting new ground. The label has gained a lot of steam in recent months, seeing them propelled rapidly to the forefront of their genres, which is no less than they deserve in our humble opinion!

For their latest drop, they have enlisted the production services of label favourites: Mafia Kiss, who themselves have a solid association with the project. This latest single sees them flexing their bassy arsonal, bringing a whole different approach to their previous appearance, which was a stripped back remix of Nixon’s ‘Gods Choir’ on the infamous ‘Basement Selection’ compilation.

As a composition ‘Sick’ is exactly what a crowded bass and breaks scene is crying out for, that being original, synth driven energy. Many of the releases we are passing through the stores and hitting our feeds seem to fall quite flat into strict 4x4 rhythms, whereas this track takes a move techy drum route, providing alternate pockets of groove around every corner. The bass notation itself is marvellous, writhing away through a stuttered alarm like LFO synthesiser, causing havoc wherever it hits.

Mafia Kiss - Sick [The 3000 Network Premiere]

Over the course of 2018 there has been a major influx of new producers starting to make headway within a very crowded scene, some of them bringing a bag of original flavours to the table and therefore making a majorly positive impact on the scene. We were very pleased to see that Lijah is one such artist, consistently supplying the bass scene with potent bangers.

Our highlight of the EP is entitled ‘I Don’t Fuck With Love’ falls directly into that bracket, pushing together a collection of potent modern bass themes in perfect harmony with the catchy vocal riffs that lay shrouded skillfully within the mix. The breakdown is a goldmine, with diamond encrusted yet gritty synthesizers running wild over sharpened 4×4 explosions and unique drum sounds, pouncing forward across any mix.

The other two tracks are by no means weak links however, with ‘Equator’ bringing us some northern niche style heat from the jump and the more experimental expanse of ‘Tycoon’ bringing us some crunchy breaksy grooves. Overall as a project, this one can hold it’s head high as the YosH Pit imprint surges forward, quickly making  their mark on the scene with relative ease. Lijah has been setting pace for a while and this EP sets a very high standard of what we have to look forward to across 2019.

Lijah - I Don't Fvck With Love [3000 Blog Premiere]

We are looking to keep up this rich quality of releases over the next year through the label arm of our network, 3000 Digital as we bring you guys another 12 months of forward thinking bass music.

The first of these label releases comes to us courtesy of Birmingham based Bassline badman JGE, who has recently put together heavyweight features for top draw projects such as Deeprot, Gassed & Project Allout and has received support from the likes of DJ Q, Holy Goof, Mr Virgo, Jay Faded, Cajama and many more.

He presents to us the mighty ‘Nobody Else’ and this track a perfect example of his signature style. Throughout a powerful intro we are introducing to sweeping synthetic structures, combining and fusing pushing the composition forward. Once we hit the breakdown however, all hell breaks loose as a cascade of sharp and expansive bass designs lunge forth amidst strong vocal lines and punchy drums to boot.

On the flip side for this one we have been gifted another bowl of treats as we take in the slightly more stripped back introduction of ‘Spiralling’. This one also packs an undercover punch however as we transition from the shimmering chord structures into the devious and dirty LFO patterns that emerge come the drop. Laser-like tones decimate the dance as we are swung left, right and centre by an extremely energetic creation.

We are absolutely thrilled to have JGE joining our release roster and we couldn’t be more excited for what this young prodigy bringing forward in the future.

JGE - Nobody Else [3000 Blog Premiere] [Out Now On 3000 Digital]

As the UK bass scene moves forward and progresses across different areas, it's often the occurrence that some of the original names from the scene's earlier days will start to fall into memory, rather than maintaining their positions at the top. One artist we have seen successfully return to the forefront of the bass explosion we are currently living amongst is Kissy Sell Out, a producer and DJ who has previously held down numerous Radio 1 residencies along with a multitude of major festival bookings. 

Over the last few years we have seen him establish himself again as an integral part of our 4x4 scene, not only starting up his own label project, but by kicking off the super popular 'The House Of Bassline' mix series, as well as trying his hand, very successfully at artist management. It's the sort of thing you just love to see. 



We are therefore here today to take a look at his brand new single via is label Stepper-man, which is a fantastic new school spin on what would be defined as an old school classic. The original recording comes to us courtesy of Urban Cookie Collective, who released 'The Key, The Secret' in 1993. Kissy here gets very busy on a vibrant, 2019 ready remix however, bringing the vocal structures and rhythms of the track streaming forward to the modern dance. 

The track itself works the vocal lines well, combining nostalgia with high production value to tick both boxes, leading towards one hell of a militant drop as we are introduced to an array of lethal synthesizer patterns and choppy drum structures. KSO - The Key, The Secret [3000 Blog Premiere]

The platform of 3000 was founded with the original intention of supplying a platform for underground bass music to flourish, be the through glistening label projects or artist led initiatives. We have therefore followed the progress of the rapidly rising Low End Records imprint since their formation and are therefore super excited to see just how far they have come as a label project.

They now boast a pretty hefty catalogue for their first nine releases, holding original creations and remixes in the bag from the likes of Luke Randall, Spectrum, MPH and Hoda, the first four names that jump out you for their notable emergence across 2019. The label was originally founded by Birmingham based producer: Wayv D, who has done extremely well to create such a notable and recognisable brand in such a short space of time.

It just so happens also that this latest drop from them see's their label founder return to business as he gears up for two original creations, showcasing that he isn't just the brains behind the label operation, but also a creditable producer alongside.


These two tracks boast quite unique traits as bassline originals, the first of which takes the name of 'Sanguine'. If you were to define this one quickly, you would call it a classic bassline anthem, a track build for the big rooms and festival stages, working from an originally drumless drop into a high energy 4x4 roller, driven by exciting bass synths and colourful instrumentation.

Wayv D - Sanguine [The 3000 Network Premiere]

Bristol is and always will be an absolute hot-bed for creativity and evolution within electronic music. The city has always been proud of it's deep musical roots and we are still seeing new stalks and stems flourishing to this day. The range of different labels and artists that have been able to build up loyal fan-bases from their home city is honestly quite outstanding, and always leads to more creativity, especially when we apply it to bass music.

As a label, we feel that Durkle Disco really are one of the leading forces in UK bass music across the board, with their release schedule constantly evolving and moving forward with new themes, constantly skipping a step ahead of the pace the rest of the UK decides to move forward at. Their recent run of releases across the breadth of 2019 has been incredibly impressive, from Logan & Kouslin's super popular funky roller: 'Bad', to the high energy link up of Boa Kusasa & Redders on the lively 'BTTF'.

The next in the their exciting run of releases comes to us from none other than the legendary Riko Dan, who joins forces with the super exciting production skillset Fonzo to deliver one heck of an original entitled 'Bushmaster'. From Fonzo's intensely rhythmic drum slaps to Riko Dan's legendary vocal prowess, this one perfectly summarizes just how much energy you can pack into an original UK funky recording, and it's perfect for adding that touch of spice to any set you touch down on.

We feel this is a perfect way for the Durkle Disco team to round off what has been a very impressive year, dripping with consistency and originality from start to finish. We feel if more labels were to follow Durkle's approach, we could be in for a truly golden generation of bass music here in the UK.

Fonzo & Riko Dan - Bushmaster [3000 Blog Premiere]

There really isn't long to go now until we hear the bells and whistles of Santa's slay turning the corner, which makes it as good a time as ever to squeeze a final release in before we move into a brand new release schedule in 2020. We have seen a worldwide explosion with the realms of bass music, which really become one of the most exciting sub-genre's of dance music to be a part of. As a whole, this year will go down as the year the sound expanded, growing out of the more original, niche sound, into a more world-accessible collection of themes and styles. 

Here at threethousand.co.uk, we have been keeping a keen eye on the scene as it evolves, both on the high rollers of our time, and also, more importantly in our eyes, those who have spent 2019 on the come up. There have been numerous label project that have spent the year building, solidifying both their brand and back catalogue. Competition from behind will always keep the top boys on their toes, which in turn will continue to drive our scene forward with original flavours, keeping the rust away. 

One label that regular readers will be able to tell we really enjoy keeping an eye on is Low End, a project headed up by Wayv D, a Birmingham based producer with his finger on the pulse, constantly supplying the scene with high quality original drops. Today, we are here to take a peek at their final offering of the year as they invite in Fraud for a tasty three track mix up. The project kicks off with a potent, well thought out creation that takes the name 'Rampage'. This one combines modern bass drones with more mature drum designs to come up with something quite original, that yet doesn't seem out of place anywhere. 

Following this, we then skip into the fluttering arpeggios and spacey introduction of the title track 'Origins', again catapulting us into a neat blend of newer bass sounds and techy drum designs, showing us the unique direction that Fraud appears to be taking quite seriously indeed. Finally, we round off this delicious project with a look at 'Cheques', which again fuses the mellow and lively perfectly, this time with a catchy vocal sample from Duke Sky to aid it on it's way.

Fraud - Rampage [3000 Blog Premiere]

2020 has already provided a landslide of exciting new Bassline tunes that are lighting up raves across the country and now it’s the turn of CruCast’s own, Skepsis (real name Scott Jenkins), to show his hand with a huge remix of Yizzy and Dizzee Rascals 2019 collaboration: ‘Back It’.
The powerful collaboration project was released mid-November of 2019 and stood out as a huge moment for the grime scene as originator, Dizzee Rascal, went back to with future star of the genre, Yizzy. The track acted as a powerful statement to show grime is not dead and that going forwards the genre is in safe hands.
The original infuses a dark, underground grime beat with inflections of dubstep and a powerful bass line which Yizzy and Dizzee’s powerful vocals were able to cut through and command with ease, making it the perfect tune to remix.
Skepsis well and truly makes this track his own, trading out the grime-y drums for bass lines iconic 4x4 style. When it comes to the drop Skepsis uses a synth sound that has become a key feature of all his bassline anthems, similar to tunes such as ‘Hold It Down’ and ‘With U’, which have become staples in all Skepsis’ sets. This new sound is a large part of the new wave of bassline that looks likely to take over the clubs and festivals throughout 2020, with this remix looking likely to be up there with one of the tracks of the year.
The combination of Skepsis’ energetic, heavy bass style combined with Yizzy’s fiery vocals can only lead to success as the two styles combine seamlessly, and with 2020 already building in momentum for the young DJ and producer, Skepsis does not look to be slowing down with a solo club tour across the UK as well as a large selection of festival bookings

Yizzy & Dizzee Rascal - Back It [Skepsis Remix] [The 3000 Network Premiere]

At threethousand.co.uk, variation is everything. As a collective of writers and individuals we can safely say that our routes into dance music in general are all so different and yet so similar. We truly believe that there are no boundaries with electronic dance music and the more we can cover, the happier we will be! 

Today we are taking a slightly different path to our norm as we head over the to the Champion Records camp for an exclusive premiere. For those that aren't aware, it is somewhat of an honour to be working alongside the Champion team, being one of the most influential yet undercover label profiles across dance music as a whole. Headed up by the living legend that is Paul Oakenfold, Champion have played host to some of dance music's most popular tunes across the world, including Kristine W's 'Feel What I Want' and of course the untouchable 'Show Me Love' from Robin S. 

We are therefore are diving into their latest release remix project, seeing them bring together four spicy reworks of Raze's 'Break 4 Love'. The project holds some gems for certain, from Rob Made's incredibly cheerful Disco rethink, to a breaks infused oldschool overhaul from Child Of The 90's. We also taste some original UKG flavour with BK298's shuffling recreation, before diving into our official premiere of Block & Crown's official remix, which can be streamed here.

Hybrid Theory - Take Flight [3000 Blog Premiere]

One thing we have been absolutely loving during this lockdown experience is taking some additional time to explore new areas of electronic music and the explosive sounds that follow, especially when we add an international twist to proceedings. It's safe to say that at threethousand.co.uk we most definitely do not focus solely on the racous. We have very much enjoyed looking into the deeper, more stripped side of 4x4 music, with today's premiere being a perfect example of that as we find ourselves leaping half way across the world to get into MudPie's latest drop. 

Over the last few years we have been continuing to hear word on South Africa's constantly growing house scene, which seemingly is producing some of the most exciting new producers in the world. MudPie have seemingly hooked an absolute goldrush with this one as they invite Sam Mkhize in for a wonderful five track experience under the title track 'Euforia'. It's a very exciting selection, again exploring numerous different dancefloor themes and forward thinking electronic elements across five original compositions with a real spicy kick working within each one. 

We have been given the absolutely joyous task of showcasing the title track 'Euforia' on the official 3000 Blog SoundCloud page and we couldn't be more excited to get involved. The track itself is again a stunning journey through numerous electronic ideas, kicking off with a spacey introduction built from shimmering reversed orchestration and big room sub structures. From here the track becomes a slowly progressing roller, dipped in subtle jackin' melodic juice and a set of rolling drums that will inject a bag of energy into any dancefloor they will be heard on.

Sam Mkhize - Euforia [The 3000 Network Premiere]

In the sunny sides of Bristol, we have seen a complete musical explosion over the past few years, as new producers and projects seem to be popping up left right and centre to deliver quality bangers to fans of bass music worldwide. Given the cities incredibly rich musical history, it's hardly a surprise that the legacy continues to reign supreme throughout a 2020 filled with emotion to say the least.

Today we are heading over to one of our favourite newer imprints as we join Sherry S & Fish, bass's favourite couple, as they unveil the latest drop from the rapidly expanding Cocobolo Sound imprint, following on from a heaped stack of top notch originals. This latest outing, sees them draw together the vocal power of the ever-ready Juma and production prowess of the super consistent Fork & Knife for a certified slap.




The original track 'Pattern It' is an instant roller. It's a bubbler, dynamite for any DJ who is looking to inject an additional dash of energy into their selection mid-rave, with Juma's extremely catchy vocal hooks bringing an extra layer of life to Fork & Knife's incredible slick arrangement below. It doesn't stop there however as the release also comes complete with a tasty remix helping from man of the minute: MPH.Despite the garage-like feelings that can be found within the original, MPH takes the composition to a whole new 2-stepping level, with an array of typically vibrant chord structures and basslines to match. Here at The 3000 Network we pride ourselves wholeheartedly in keeping the scene as informed as possible about the full breadth of bass music being produced worldwide. Today, we are very happy to be on job as we sit down to take in this brand new link up between two of the most experienced names in the game. We are here to witness a very exciting Bristol to Brixton link up as Sample Junkie makes his return, alongside the killer vocals of the one and only Killa P for ‘Dealing Wit’.

Let’s talk about Sample Junkie first, a genuine veteran of electronic music in the UK, having strung together a series of high quality releases of the years with the likes of In:flux Audio, Chip Butty, Mutant Bass and more, proving not only his consistency, but versatility in production also. Moving onto Killa P, what more is there to say about the guy?! He is without a doubt one of the most consistent and foundational vocalists within the UK in our eyes, with an impeccable catalogue ranging across grime, bass, funky, dubstep and more.

It made sense therefore that through the versatility of both it’s creators, this collaboration was going to be something pretty wild. We wonder into the realm of the raucous with this one as Sample Junkie deploys one of the most lethal displays of synthesizer action we have ever heard, over which Killa P does what he does best, providing a catchy patois vocal line that not only brings the tune to life at exactly the right moment, but also gives the whole composition a much more rave-ready feel. Is there any sound this pairing aren’t able to nail?
