His track "Paradise" featuring UK's Holly Lois racked up over 130,000 plays in 2018. Following with a multiple releases on the iconic Nervous Records. In 2020 his track "Situation" broke into the ARIA Club Charts Top 50 as well as being awarded ARIA DJ of the Week nation wide. In a sea of glamour Latour remains true to the music being a core product of his early underground surroundings. After a lengthy 8 year residency in 2019 Latour stepped into the music director role at one of the countries most respected underground dance venues "elsewhere" proving his place in the industry. On 22 September 2014, the highly prolific Spanish DJ/producer Dosem returns, with his hugely anticipated third album ‘City Cuts’ on Coyu’s illustrious Suara imprint.
“It's an album inspired by urban life which includes some of my experiences from the last couple of years touring different major cities around the world like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Buenos Aires and Barcelona.” Dosem.
Dosem, whose real name is Marc Ramirez, has been a prominent name within the global house and techno scene over the last six years and regularly features on revered labels such as Christian Smith’s Tronic, Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s Intec, Technasia's Sino, John Digweed’s Bedrock, Gregor Tresher’s Break New Soil and, of course, Coyu’s Suara where he is classed as one of their core artists.
‘City Cuts’ still boasts all the unique production values of Marc’s previous acclaimed albums (‘Parallel’ in 2011 and ‘Origin’ 2013) but this time he progresses by showing us a different side to his musical prowess, delivering what feels like his most accomplished long-player to date.
“My last album was mostly techno,” says Marc. “With this album I wanted to show my other side, so it’s more house oriented. It's an album especially designed for dancing in a club but it also has tracks with soulful substance.”
‘Runnerpark’, the album’s impressive opener, is an immense production that encompasses powerful arpeggiated melodies, striking euphoric chord stabs and an unexpected dub-influenced breakdown. The album continues by showcasing and array of killer tech-house gems such as the funk-fuelled ‘Cos of Me’, the infectious disco-tinged ‘Expression’ and 90s-rave-inspired future classic ‘Cuts or Cats’.
Other highlights include, the super hypnotic ‘Message’ and the moody techno cut ‘Streetout’, which were released together as an EP earlier this year, as a precursor to this album, to much acclaim.
Aside from the wealth of dancefloor-focused tracks, there is also two incredibly inspiring electronic soundscapes in the form of ‘No Past’ Ft. Louder Bays and ‘Lost Taxi’. Akin to the works of Moby and Unkle, both tacks are totally mesmerising and add a further dimension to the album. Marc says “I’ve got to say ‘Lost Taxi’ it's probably the most emotional track on the album and I feel especially linked to it.”
All in all, ‘City Cuts’ is a very confident and imaginative long-player. While moving from track to track, nothing ever sounds out of place and is all tied together with an incredibly strong sense of melody. Developed like a well-crafted DJ set, this album is not only full of intrigue and excitement but also makes sense as a listen, highlighting Marc’s supreme talent, depth and versatility as a DJ/producer.

Established house talent Harry Romero makes a standout debut on Rebellion with the ​Afro Horn​ EP, an impressive two track release made specifically for the label.

“I​ t’s always a great experience when you set your sights on a certain sound and outcome when you’re in the studio. ‘Afro Horn’ and ‘R.W.P.’ were created for Damian Lazarus. I’m glad he saw the vision and signed them to his Rebellion imprint as no other label could have done them justice! ‘Afro Horn’ is a straight up deep tribal experience framed around an African flute solo. I wanted to create a sort of beauty and the beast track with this.‘RWP’ is a bit more musically sophisticated with its moving keyboard parts and a real spaced out arrangement which gives it so much room to breath.”​ ​Harry Romero​.

Afro Horn​ starts proceedings in a tribal fashion. A well-rounded kick merges with resonant percussion, that takes the form of a rattlesnake’s tail, providing the track with an enigmatic, Saharan-like quality. ​R.W.P​ rounds off the release. Keyboard chimes fuse with a gentle up-and-down bassline, as ethereal chords are layered underneath to form an emotive dance-floor number.

A regular on the electronic music scene, ​Harry Romero​’s talent for adapting styles shows no signs of slowing down. Traversing the various incarnations of house music with ease, the US native has produced multiple EPs for Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings as well as Yousef’s Circus Recordings; whilst his tougher, gritty productions have found a home on Tronic Music in the past. With an upcoming Essential Mix, Harry Romero is really beginning to cement his reputation as an esteemed and respected artist in the electronic music sphere.

Since bursting on to the scene 5 years ago, German agency Jackmode has caused quite a stir with their party-starting sensibilities and keen ear for a dancefloor gem. What's more, they've also introduced a wealth of new talent, not least Adana Twins, Claptone, HNQO, Zombie Disco Squad, Round Table Knights and Doctor Dru. Their most recent endeavor acts as a fitting snapshot to all that's great about them, with 5 Years of Jackmode the sort of record they've built their consistent reputation on.

Kicking off the 2-disc, 20-track compilation is the Brazilian boy wonder himself, HNQO. "Don't Stop" sees him in typically groove-centric form, with Club Idol's ghetto-infused vocals combining expertly with the latter. Mat. Joe's "Ride" does exactly as its title suggests, with its canny Run DMC sample emphasising the artist-and the label's-continuing penchant for unlikely approaches. 

Doctor Dru's "U Don't dance" is built around a bulging, bulbous bassline, as is Monkey Safari's expectedly 'jacking' "Got the Jack". Zombie Disco Squad's "Brooklyn in the House" opts for moodier methods, with its clattering percussion a real highlight. Death on the Balcony's "Move Like Fire" glides at an altogether more subtle and lackadaisical pace, before Joyce Muniz's "Sleepless" paves the way for a frantic culmination with its sporadic lyrics and beautiful, chord-filled progression.

The old-school ethos comes to the fore again on Monte's "You Should Know", a record that shines with a camp outlook that wouldn't seem out of place in the mid 1980s. Fabo's "My Way" drags the listener down another dark alleyway, before Penner+Muder expertly wave goodbye to CD1 with "Love You Some More", a delicate, waif-like record bolstered by the presence of Mr. Daniel Wilde.
