Ell Deezy - Turn My World Around

It’s always a pleasure to be able to jump into a vibrant box of new school UKG and organ house tools and tricks, with this latest offering from Aaron Jackson providing us some seriously smooth summer flavours. Complete with an epic remix, this is one of the funnest projects we’ve had the pleasure of putting together so far this year.

The title track is jam packed with goodness, from melodic organ chord lines to bubbling vocal expressions and potent drum processing, which when smashed together results in a seriously bubbly original. On the flip we dive much more into the UKG realm, welcoming the one and only Soulecta inside for a fantastic rework of ‘With You’, unveiling rave-ready bass manoeuvres and choppy drum switches, injecting a whole new layer of energy. What a release this is!

We have been absolutely loving his sound for a hot minute, and this latest weapon is something very special indeed.

Taking the title ‘Want It’, we see Aaron tailor his sound much more towards broken-beat and UKG influences, with a super crunchy backdrop of lo-fi drum processing giving a bed to some seriously mean bassline action. We are once again back in the thick of it, with an absolute heater to see us round off the year in style. This is a link up we were very happy to see come together, as we see 3000 Deep regular Aaron Jackson link up with the legendary vocal abilities of the one and only Dread MC for a wicked new single by the name ‘Rueboi Melody’, which is sure to shock some additional dance floor flavour into your lives before the new year kicks off in full style.

Kicking off with the original single, the first thing we come across is the weightiness of Aaron Jackson’s smooth production approach, giving us eerie atmospheric nods but also a tonne of potency across some hard hitting drum lines. These then provide the landing zone for Dread’s instantly recognisable vocal energy as the track launches off into the stratosphere.

Stepping over from 3000 Bass, we are gifted with an official remix from none other than Damzy, who gives the track a much more synthetic feel, letting loose grizzly synthesizer and warbling melodies for a tasty little switch up and adding a big injection of bass to the release, lovely stuff.

Next up from the 3000 Deep camp, we are diving into something truly scrumptious, pulling together a vibrant two-tracker combination from the one and only Phantasm, a futuristic producer whose grasp of vocal sampling and glittering atmospheric prowess has yielded two vibrant rollers for us all to enjoy.

We begin with ‘Bad’, a beautiful fusion between lazily sweeping synthesiser leads and palpable drum bubbles, giving us a wicked backdrop of intense groove, pushed forward by subtle melodic mastery. From here, the pressure intensifies as we head down to the basement with ‘So Sweet’, a more sub-driven sweeper, tap-dancing through skippy drum textures and a more minor-sounding harmonic design, giving us a real ying and yang feel across the full project!

To follow on from a momentous 2022, Aaron Jackson is once again back at it among the 3000 Deep ranks, delivering a sizzling selection to kickstart the spring in style, unleashing a vibrant display of official remixes, alongside a weighty new single. As an original creation, ‘Giving Up’ tows the line perfectly between future techno and gnarly bass music, fusing subtle reeses with catchy vocal leads from start to finish.

We are then introduced firstly to GiddiBangBang’s rethink, a low ended thumper, jam packed with bulbous bass line energy, followed by the groovy moog sweeps and eerie atmospheric melodies of Bass Odysseys overhaul, next to the more clubland-inspired euphoria of Footwurk's jive-ridden overhaul. Finally, GECHA unleashes a monster of a UK Bass remix to round things off fusing angelic synthesis with lethal bass-driven leads for a fiery finale.

Majora's been a producer on various radars for quite a while now, popping up on labels like Sounds Of Sumo and most recently Roska's RKS label, but his debut EP for freshly-minted imprint, Service, is the first to really showcase a colourful and now evidently maturing sound. The EP is comprised of two tracks; title track, Rio Citrus and Moves On, which are also complimented by a quartet of remixes from Hagan, Roska, Tony Quattro, and Killjoy in a release that's been suitably tilted toward the club. What it might lack in conceptual finesse, it certainly makes up for in punch - Rio Citrus in particualr listens like a killer slice of contemporary UK funky awash with brilliantly simple, infectious melodies and a delirious, charging flow. Aside from being well constructed, both tracks seem to function around a simple premise too - to get people dancing. Verdict? On first listen, mission accomplished.

Late nights on the beach, smokey pool parties and festival fun, that’s what we could see instantaneously when this new single from Ward Junior and Helder Simz dropped into our lap. As an original recording, ‘Emotional’ is stunning, encapsulating the summer season through beautifully effected female vocal melodies, emotive chord progressions and subtle grinding subs gliding between smooth drum arrangements. It’s definitely one for the sunshine, and comes highly recommended from the 3000 team.

We were thrilled to get this one pushed into our release listings as we welcome Apollo & Jayms onboard with 3000 Deep for an absolute belter by the name of ‘Guiding Light’. Apollo & Jayms - Guiding Light

As ever at The 3000 Network, we are looking to expand and explore as many different sections of underground bass music as possible, with this scorching new two track EP from FETISH being a perfect example of that as we return to 3000 Deep for an exceptional outing.

The EP itself consists of two tracks, kicking off with the title track ‘Creature Of The Night’. As a composition, this is an exceptional piece of minimalist bliss from FETISH, combining subtle reesey textures and pulsating sub tones to deliver a certified stick dance floor dynamite. The vibes alternate slightly as we move into the B-side as a much more front facing bassline heads up the charge, topped off with spacey percussive stabs and sweeping synthetic textures with fantastic results.
