When Addison was found wandering the woods outside Black Hollow, Maine, she carried no ID, no memory, and a cassette recorder that had been running for hours.
The tape was nearly blank, just fragments of her voice between long stretches of silence, whispering the same phrase over and over, sometimes calm, sometimes pleading:

 “I’m eternal.”



Locals believed she had escaped a cult or some failed experiment; others said she’d been missing for decades and hadn’t aged a day.
Forensic tests dated the tape to the 1980s, but the recorder itself was manufactured in 2009.

Years later, when Mesa Babe surfaced online, one of the producers claimed they found a strange vocal loop buried deep inside an old drive. It wasn’t labeled, just titled with a timestamp:
00:00:00 – I’m Eternal.
When slowed down, the voice matched Addison’s perfectly, same tone, same rhythm, same static-laced breathing.

The song became a reconstruction of that lost recording: a digital séance, an echo of Addison’s curse... to live forever without remembering why.
