ABOUT SUPERPOSITION

S U P E R P O S I T I O N -  is a chiptune album which apart from having heavy influences from game console music (Such as Nintendo, Gameboy and Commodore 64) also has many influences related to our universe. There are crossovers to quantum physics, robotics and chemistry which is a silver thread throughout the album.

"While making the music for Superposition I worked hard on creating dynamic parts and I was aiming for an album that travels from a happy, playful and energetic mood over to a somewhat melancholic feel.

A whole lot of heart went into making this album. Most of the tracks reflect certain moments and occurrences from this past year.

Fun fact 1: The track name 'Ms. Bed Burrito' emerged from what I use to call my wife when she is sleeping (with the sheet around her all curled up looking just like a Burrito).

Fun fact 2: My colleague at work seemed to have a favorite word - 'Douchebag' which he seamlessly shouted out every day. This was the starting point for the 'Douchebag Rumble' chiptune."

Who or what is Reset Robot? The chances are, if you've been more than an occasional visitor to any of the world's more discerning dancefloors, you'll most likely have been exposed to the sound; you may have already given yourself up to the techno and house excursions that have become the Reset Robot blueprint.

Emerging rejuvenated from the studio in 2009, Reset Robot announced himself with the licensing of no fewer than 6 tracks to Dubfire's label Sci+Tec. Further releases followed on Adam Beyer's Drumcode & Truesoul, Sven Väth's Cocoon and Slam's Soma Records. After about 4 years of hiatus from making serious music and putting effort into making another album i'm finally back! This album has it all, chilled out slow tracks, upbeat pumping tracks, darker tones and happy melodies. It's a mix of everything i love with Video Game Music.

My goal with this album is to go back to my roots and show how much my quality and production value has increased since my first true album "Insert Coin". This album uses artwork similar to "Insert Coin" and is like a spiritual successor to it. 

The overall theme is nostalgia, created with my own signature style and unique chiptune/fakebit sound.
