Lexia Majora is a Romanian DJ based in Exeter UK, specializing in techno, minimal, and house. She is the co-manager of techno night Room 303 and women + nonbinary collective Sister Sounds. 

She plays regularly in Exeter and has supported artists such as Daniel Avery, Peach, Mall Grab, and Afrodeutsche. Lexia learned how to mix on vinyl at Mix Nights in Bristol, and even though she mostly plays digitally nowadays, vinyl remains her true love. 

Currently, Lexia Majora is doing an anthropology PhD at the University of Exeter about the Rominimal genre and community and hopes to publish a book about this afterward. 

This mix reflects Lexia Majora’s eccentricity, and her preference for wonky, alien sounds which challenge the listener to step out of their comfort zone, while also providing a sense of familiarity through the warmth of the melodies and vocals that are sprinkled around it.

To say that music runs in the veins is to know the true meaning behind a 25 year career of Iranian born and Danish native Nima Gorji.

Now calling Ibiza home, it is from here that he continues to demonstrate his technique and passion for his music, firmly holding his place amongst his peers and fans alike around the world.

All stories must have a beginning, and for Nima it began after listening to artists such as Depeche Mode that the tone was set and the realization that this world was for him, a life of electronic music, machines, turntables and clubs. The 90's in Copenhagen saw the arrival of the clubbing scene with house and techno music, a new sound taking shape in the city and in particular with Nima who was part of this building up of this scene. In 95 he began a residency at the Rust Club, now remembered as one of the most known underground clubs in Copenhagen, where he played alongside a number of international artists, including Kerri Chandler and Kevin Yost.

In 2005 Nima made the decision to move away from his base in Denmark and make for a new one on the island of Ibiza in Spain, where he soon established himself in the local scene with residencies for What's Up at the famous terrace at Space, for Ibiza Underground, Monza and now Next Wave. His music productions continued to gain grounds on labels such as Out Of Orbit, Love Letters From Oslo, Cecille, Murmur and Suburban Tracks.

 Currently Nima is building up his label Welt Recordings along with new label NG Trax and expanding an ever busy DJ scheduled with tours and gigs lined up around the globe. His music and passion behind the decks continue to stir the imagination and hearts of those who truly appreciate and understand what good music is; what runs in the veins runs true and very deep.

 With his deep groovy minimal and houssy vibes across the whole mix, Nima shows his essence and just a glimpse of what he is capable of doing while in front of whatever set up is available to play.

Soon to start with his brand new residency NG Trax at one of Ibiza’s top clubs, Ibiza Underground, in where he already announced an amazing list of artists that will go visit and play along with him such as Andrey Pushkarev, Argenis Brito, Cesar Marveille, Denis Korablev, Halo Varga, Kevin Cook, Mike Shannon, Miroloja, Shoxy, Vinyl Speed Adjust and Vicentiulian.

Something also really worth to mention is that he will be playing at Moonland Festival, a breathtaking festival that will be held in Estonia from August 3rd till the 5th, with an incredible line up that will be spread in 6 different stages with over 50 hours of music and more than 4 dozen artists from all over the world."

Roxana belongs to the new generation of Romanian artists who have emerged in this music area that's not only minimal but also very melodic. Having studied piano and guitar from an early age and with a background mainly built on Rock & DNB, she soon started expanding her horizons towards other types of underground genres.
It’s really interesting to observe a phenomenon in her mix, she goes from dark dirty grooves to places that would sometimes remind you of the jungle. Do you like your brain playing with you? Then fasten your seatbelt, my dear friend, it’s about to go down. I know you might say it’s you’re too early for you to get this hyped, but her mix is not something too early.. or too late... now it’s just the right time!  We’re sorry that it’s pandemic right now and you don’t have the chance to catch her playing, but hey, treat yourself and go listen to Roxy.
