This definitely disturbed her since she was considering that seeing him randomly was an act of GOD. She describes how her "plans were ruined" of possibly rekindling "the flame."

My story: I'm 31, born and raised in Los Angeles, went to college [Norfolk State University] in Virginia and earned my B.A. in Journalism but truly have always been a writer at heart and decided to collide my strength with music. Ever since I heard "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" I've been writing songs. Seriously just an LA chick wanting to create classic, amazing songs with talented genuine people.
