Drums are mainly done with the DFAM. I found a sample of fireflies and treated that. The bass drum is from Logic DMD which I am modulating the pitch.

The bass is made on a Grandmother. The pad is a Reaktor one. The bells as well. I also have a NI electric piano layered in as well. I seem to start with with a lot.Som

The wind chimes were borrowed from my neighbour. I have been making some sample instruments with it but this was pla]yed live if you can't tell.

One trick I now do with the vocals is two whisper tracks. Panned left and right. I found this on youtube and it does seem to add something.

Live impro (mono synth) on my new hardware machine: 4 D-Two's, here with 4 sec delay, reduced to stereo. Not for headphones actually.
While I was not trying to do that, I came very close to what I was playing in '78-79 with an electrified violin, two 4-Trk tape recorders and four speakers. Time does fly, but some things stay with you.

for this track I first auditioned and downloaded multiple parts from freesound.org, from textures and synth noises to radio tunings (all creative commons free licences - see below for a comprehensive list). These where assembled into a drum rack in ableton and randomly triggered. I set random velocities which would trigger the sample offsets to create added variety. Furthermore I used live 11's new PitchLoop89 effect to create an active stereo mix.
