Growing up in Romania, Anca found her love for music when she began singing at fourteen. She started DJing in 2016 and from that moment it wasn't long before Anca kicked off her first radio show on Drums.ro Radio. 
Completing a fruitful move to London in 2017 welcomed her first live feature on lifefm.tv as a guest on Sweetpea's show. Then came guest-mixes for Liquiform Up North and Vykhod Sily, then came a string of opportunities to play alongside some of her favourite producers/DJs, with the support and in support of EQ50. In November 2021 she was invited to play at legendary Rupture's 15th anniversary, which was definitely a night to remember.

Mark’s label showcase mix perfectly portrays the Silent/Sonic Force ethos, “Looking Forward by Looking Back.” Mark’s mix features released and unreleased tracks with that old school vibe, beautiful, atmospheric tracks, tough as nails rollers, amens, drumfunk, and steppers! Episode 460 brings us the third mix from Section, boss of Locked Up Music and one half of the duo, Dark Ops!

Section's mix features tracks from his upcoming LP on Counterpoint Recordings, forthcoming tunes, tracks on his Locked Up Music imprint and more! This mix is my favorite of the three! Dark, moody upfront tunes, stripped back rollers, deep, lush tracks, nasty steppers, and crisp amens! Deadly vibe on this one!!

Let's meet our dj for episode 460, Section:

Section is a DJ/Producer from Worthing (UK) and has been releasing Drum and Bass since 2013 on a variety of the scene’s biggest labels including; Dread, Skeleton Recordings, Serial Killaz, Counterpoint Recordings, Audio Addict, Deep In The Jungle and Directors Cut. In 2017 he started his own label, Locked Up Music, which has gained support from all corners of the scene. 
In early 2021 Counterpoint Recordings asked Section if he’s like to do an LP for them. It didn’t take long for Section to get started and by the end of the year it was wrapped up. The Fourth Hour is coming out in early summer 2022 on the Portuguese label and you can hear several tracks on Section’s EDJ mix.

Section has plenty planned for the rest of the year so keep an eye on his socials for gigs, mixes and releases.

Spectral Breaks @Volks, Brighton Fri 13th March 2020

Christal is the label co/owner of the prominent Drum & Bass label - Smooth N Groove Records alongside Clen. The label is based out of Northampton, UK and Washington DC, USA. Smooth N Groove Records launched in May 2016 opening with their first release, Jrumhand’s Beaches & Countryside.

Smooth N Groove Records is a Drum & Bass label dedicated to bringing atmospheric, Funky, Soulful, rolling vibez from the best in the scene to the ears of all listeners. Since its conception Smooth N Groove has established a respectable place within the scene with full support from their peers and an ever growing fan base.

Christal has been running a club night since 2018 alongside Soul Deep Recordings head honcho, Scott Allen, Clen and John Crossland, AKA SoulStructure. Appropriately named Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove, representing artists from both labels to perform at their events. They have also taken the Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove brand to the west coast of America hosting events in Los Angeles at Respect, and Stamina, San Francisco

The next Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove is planned to take place at Club 43, Northampton, UK, on August 5th.
