From graduating college to getting my first corporate job and hating it to loosing that same job and leaving my parents crib to sleeping on my homies couch for a year and figuring out what I’m going to do with my life. Black Coupe Blues is an exploration of my narrative and come up story once I was finally in the real world. Follow me as I tell you about my highest highs and lowest lows and how Frank Vibes came into existence. The next chapter in my artistry an embrace of my past nostalgia combined with the man I have become. Produced entirely by Wilderness Bounty Hunters this project delves deep into my personal psyche during these times. I just recently lost two people that were integral to my story as an artist and lover of music. My brother SRT Big Shugg who got me started recording songs when we were 13 years old and my Uncle Juny one of the men who introduced me to rap and favorite rapper Big L. Going into 2022 I wanted to quit rap after these devastating losses but in those dark times I found solace in my favorite anime of all time YuYu Hakasho. Watching this show inspired to start back writing but embracing a new persona behind my music now a character that stands up to the demons of this world. My spirit gun is my music and I’m using it to execute the wicked principles we are indoctrinated into cause I’m tired of loosing people and somebody has to take a stand. I’m no hero or savior but like Yusuke Urameshi I’m always down to fight especially for the right reasons.
