Wu Sung's Revenge

I have been working on this project on the side for the past six months, gathering melodies, drums, and vocal samples. The structure of this beat tape is heavily influenced by the Kung Fu flick "The Delightful Forest". In addition, when making these tracks, I took inspiration from Dilla, Madlib, Wu-tang, etc. Many hours of hard work went into this. In the end it was definitely worth it! Tell me what you think. The Year is 1976. It's Christmas and you spent the better part of 24 hours with your family in New York. But the night is still young, so you decide to embark on a journey through 42nd Street, otherwise known as Forty Deuce, a place made famous for the many indulgences it has to offer. Some may even go as far to call it the epicenter of New York City. As the night progresses, you encounter many walks of life, pimps, prostitutes, junkies, and hustlers. On both sides of the road, you see a multitude of theaters, each featuring some obscure kung fu flick or low budget porno. And on each corner is a prostitute and a self righteous bible beater preaching to the masses. With all the glitz and glam, it's easy to get sucked in. But you must keep on edge, because all that consumerism might just go to your head...

You, along with a few close friends, connect with the local drug kingpin and are given various odd jobs to perform around town. Within no time, you begin to climb the economic ladder until you control all the cocaine coming in and out of South Florida. But with more money and more power comes more responsibility. Will you survive, or will all the fame and fortune be your demise?
