Milan Hermess co-runs the ever evolving Mechatronica, a Berlin-based record label, promoter and collective founded in 2012 and is founder of Fan Fiction, a club night and DJ cafe at Crack Bellmer Berlin, with a hefty focus on community and connection within the local music scene. Originally from the Netherlands, where Milan hosted techno parties in his hometown of Arnhem, he has been residing in Berlin since 2011. With over a decade of DJing experience, Milan is a true vinyl enthusiast and devotee to all that is music and nightlife. Heavily influenced by the West Coast Sound of Holland and Berlin’s nightlife culture, his mixes touch upon all genres within alternative dance music; Milan plays that shit that makes you dance.

A nice progression felt throughout the 60 minutes, we're looking forward to seeing more of JON XVM in the future!

"I’m constantly on the hunt to find music, it’s been my soul mission to find old tracks that sound new. I find songs released in between 1990 & early 2000’s tend to have a more serious side to them, which I love, whereas tracks today seem to be more inviting and I absolutely love mixing this contrast in energy around. Nothing beats moments of euphoria quickly being plunging deep into the dark, hopefully you can see that in this mix"
