The EP “Continuum” consists of seven tracks and is the debut release of the electronica &
dubstep live act “3CUE”. The duo from Leipzig created an instrumental mix of digital sounds,
analogue synthesizers and acoustic drums, that may very well be able of granting a breath of
fresh air to fellow genre sympathisers when browsing through the wide field of bass music.
The majority of tracks on this EP have been created in self direction and mostly been recorded
and produced with Echolux Studio in Leipzig. The EP bears a groovy depth that is laced with
delicate melodies and prominent vocal samples, as both artists focus on enriching the project by
bringing both musical (such as post rock, folk, electro) as well as personal influences and
experiences into the mix.
Each song title aims to describe the sound characteristics portrayed in the track, that will work
with the leitmotif of a continuum and are associated with a musical flavour of succession,
cohesion and connection.
Above all however, each of the seven tracks aspire luring into a sphere free from constraints of
form an content, that upon listening will cause nodding of the head to the beat and allow for a
short dive into delirium.

Die mit sieben Tracks bestückte EP „Continuum“ ist das Debüt-Release des Electronica & Dubstep Live Acts '3CUE'. Mit diesem Lebenszeichen kreiert das Leipziger Duo einen instrumentalen Mix aus digitalen Sounds, analogen Synthesizern und akkustischem Schlagzeug, der Genre-Sympathisanten einen frischen Wind beim Stöbern durch das weite Feld der Bassmusik bescheren dürfte.

Größtenteils in Eigenregie und dem Echolux Studio zu Leipzig aufgenommen, hat die EP sowohl groovige Tiefe, als auch filigrane Melodien und markante Vocal Samples zu bieten. Das rührt nicht zuletzt vom Einfluss verschiedenster Stilistik- Ausflüge (Jazz, Pop, Postrock, Folk, Elektro), die beide Musiker an Erfahrung mit in dieses Projekt bringen.
Die Songtitel beziehen sich meist auf das klangliche Bild, welches der jeweilige Track vermittelt. So findet sich ein roter Faden an immer wieder auftauchenden Sound- Elementen, die man mit dem Begriff Continuum, sprich dem Zusammenhängenden & Ununterbrochenen, assoziiert.

In erster Linie sollen einen die 7 Stücke aber in eine Sphäre locken, in der man, frei von inhaltlichen Zwängen, zuhören, Kopfnicken und kurzzeitig ins Delirium abtauchen kann.
