We're excited to release our fifth V/A, an 11-track V/A called TRANSAERE on 11th October, melding bass, breaks, techno, global sounds and lots more.

The V/A features music from worldwide talents including carin kelly, Dj Spit, Bluetoof, De Grandi, and DARK BUDA, amongst others. Each artist brings their unique perspective, contributing to a diverse and forward-thinking collection of tracks.

The concept of TRANSAERE is deeply rooted in the theme of Air, delving into the unseen yet powerful qualities of this essential natural element. The project invites listeners to explore the hidden virtues of Air, emphasizing its profound impact despite its invisibility.
Through this thematic exploration, TRANSAERE aims to capture the essence of Air's subtle yet undeniable force, offering an immersive listening experience that transcends genres and borders.

"Butterflies can fly at 3000 meters above sea level and use air currents to travel long distances. But on a less cute note, we've also reached a point where there is so much plastic in that air that we actually inhale nano plastics every day, which sticks in our lungs from our clothes."

PREMIERE: GLYNY - A Little Too Quiet

808 Catz is a collaborative project between Filth Inc. founder Aniket Dabholkar (Full Motion Disaster) & Satyajeet Prabhu (Barasingha).

Coming from Lo-Fi House and Drum & Bass respectively, the two decided to meet midway at the 160 bpm mark to serve up some jazz-inspired footwork and instrumental hip-hop

As a follow up to their Vol. 1 EP released in 2020 on Filth Inc, 'How U Do It' sees the duo serve a nocturnal blend of jazz infused footwork, halftime dnb and juke with an evident early Philip D Kick influence as a cherry on top, and could be interpreted as a soundtrack to a neo-noir mystery movie.

The track is best enjoyed on a cold rainy evening in a smoky backroom of a jazz bar with whiskey on the rocks.

Artificio’s cofounders, Pasq (fka Arcane Prospect) and Rainmaker, take their sound in bold new directions with a four-track EP that mixes raw energy with sharp, forward-thinking production. Kicking off with «Midas Touch», Rainmaker blends his techno and ambient roots with fresh ideas, setting the tone for what’s to come—deep basslines and rich atmospheres that hint at his past while pushing into new territory.

Pasq follows with «Sin Perse» and «Randy», where intricate sound design, distorted rhythms, and heavy bass are combined with a touch of dark humor. The EP closes with «Amour Fou», a “hyperbass” track, filled with both longing and optimism, echoing a desire for transformation.

A Fuego Y A Fondo is Artificio's statement of intent—a fierce commitment to pushing sound to its edges, challenging norms, and keeping dance music untamed.
