In Hour 2 it's UK composer, producer and songwriter Wilma Archer (formerly recording as Slime), following the release of his 12" 'Scarecrow' which is out on Domino Records' imprint Weird World. The release follows last year's single ‘Like A Hunger ft. Amber Mark’ and Archer's 2015 album, Company, under his previous moniker, Slime. After composing and writing for the likes of Jessie Ware, Selah Sue and Jeramiah Jae, the release sees Archer shift focus back to his own work. He told us;
"A real box of chocolates; this mix includes some fun combinations of old and new, some heavy personal nostalgia derived from many hours of PS1 video games and their soundscapes/foley design, some forgotten TV themes, and a few lucky findings from various car boot sales in Northumberland and London"

Zachariah Zoske is a beatmaker, producer, singer/songwriter from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On producing this track:

"I loaded the MPC2000 samples onto an Ableton drum rack and programmed a pretty basic drum pattern and spiced it up with the beat repeater plugin to add some swing to the pocket. From there, I threw down a bass line and the rest of the instrumentation sort of just fell into place. I freestyled vocal melodies until I found something I liked and then spent an evening coming up with the lyrics."
