Sounds quite "jazzy" to me. With regards to the lead I think it would have helped to use more pauses. It does not sound like phrases but rather like someone talking without saying anything or walking around without a goal. Good luck in the challenge!

Feels to me like some sort of a draft. A better arrangement and some memorable melodies/riffs would be nice. And ofcourse it needs better mixing in aspects of frequency balance, levels and stage.

Nice percs, a little bit disharmonic for my ears. My wish: make the compressor a bit less in the mix. Good luck in the challenge:)

Feels a bit random like it was thrown together. Needs more thought, more character, more work.

There's a lot that i like about this tune, but i definitely agree that more expression would help immensely.

In the end, I think the sounds are a little harsh; a problem shared by my track this month. Notwithstanding that, there's a nice mix of sounds, and some cool arrangements.

The bass seem to get quite distorted at times (like here). I'd probably use some volume automation to make it quieter where it's getting distorted, or may use an EQ in the more troublesome areas on the bass track.

I think this piece could be a lot more fun if it was a little more expressive, with variation in timing and volume of the notes. Also some syncopation, at the moment it feels a little stiff with things playing the same way constantly. Would be nice if there was some build and release. Hope that can help, and good luck!
