This is a sick remix. The original perhaps a bit overplayed. I'll have some more of this one... :)

I pay tribute to the producer duo of Andrei Lemeshko & Dave Pad, better known as Volen Sentir, hailing from the vibrant city of Moscow, Russia. 

My discovery of their music was a serendipitous one, stumbling upon their track "Vdol Po Rechenke" in 2017, which immediately caught my attention with its fresh and uniquely different sound.

Since then, I've been an avid follower of their work, eagerly awaiting each new release and even starting a fan group on Facebook in 2019. Though I have since passed on the group to other dedicated fans, Volen Sentir remains one of my all-time favorite producers. Their rolling basslines act as a signature sound, immediately recognizable as one of their tracks or remixes.

For this mix, I've decided to focus on their more recent releases, rather than revisiting the tried and true favorites that have been heard by many. The mix includes a variety of collaborations and remixes, showcasing the duo's versatility and range as producers.

We welcome Timur Gabrilyan a.k.a Taleman, for the fifty-first edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series. Taleman is a gifted DJ and electronic musician hailing from the bustling city of Moscow, Russia. With an unwavering passion for composing and performing music, Taleman began his journey into the world of music production back in 2011.

From his early days of experimentation to his current standing as a recognized artist, Taleman's musical repertoire has transcended genres, encompassing a diverse range of styles that span from deep, soulful house to the organic, earthy tones of his signature sound. His works have been released on labels such as Amulanga, Where The Shadow Ends, Flug Lab, Souksonic, Delysid and Akbal Music, to name a few. Notably, Taleman's collection boasts an impressive EP album that was released on Chuvstvo Ritma Rec. and, more recently, a debut vinyl release on the acclaimed Amulanga, an independent record label founded in 2019 by Modd and Ventt. The success of his previous works inspired Taleman to embark on a new venture, and in 2020, he founded his record label, "Try To Find Sound."

This mix showcases his unique flair for the organic house genre. A true master of his craft, Taleman has curated a selection of tracks, with a majority being his own, presenting listeners with an exclusive experience that is both authentic and captivating. 3rd Avenue Podcast 045 - Vandelor

We have been wanting to bring Serbian DJ/Producer Boris Mijolic aka Mass Digital onboard for a while now. Hailing from Serbia, Boris grew up gaining inspiration from music from a very early age. Exploring his father's tapes and later vinyl, he has always believed in the power of melodies. This clearly reflects in his productions, which are some of the best in the vast world of Organic House.

Experimenting with soft piano, pads and strings and infusing them with a perfectly crafted melody, Boris has been able to create some magical tracks which have found home on renowned record labels like Kindisch, All Day I Dream, Hoomidas, Sol Selectas to name a few. His music has been a staple in the sets of stalwarts like Above & Beyond, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. This month Boris joins our little Distant Grooves family with a beautifully crafted guestmix.
