Opening the month of August, Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Hobin Rude to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Serbia, Hobin Rude first emerged in 2020 with a remix for Jelly For The Babies One Of A Kind imprint. His progressive sounds quickly found favour with the genre's premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, eventually leading to releases via Beat Boutique, Dopamine White, Hoomidaas and Sound Avenue. Also an established DJ, the Belgrade resident has the distinction of performing with elite international talentsGuy J, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Guy J, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Volen Sentir and more. Now on the strength of forthcoming projects via The Soundgarden and Plattenbank, Hobin adds Movement Recordings to his resume with 'It Was and It Will', alongside remixes from DJ Ruby and Kyotto.

The release concludes with Kyotto making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of 'Umbra'. First emerging in 2017, the Sri Lankan artist was quickly tipped as one of his country's most promising progressuve house artists. Releases via 3rd Avenue, Dopamine White, JEE Productions have been recent discography highlights while Hernan Cattaneo continues to be steadfast with support. As an in-demand remixer, the Colombo resident now steps up to Movement Recordings for his debut, taking 'Umbra' into his world of groovy basslines and emotive melodies. Kyotto sustains an understated yet confident club energy, reshaping the groove into a rippling funk-fuelled delight, while rolling percussion and riveting stabs push momentum into an expansive break. Looking to bring further emotion to the narrative, the centrepiece keeps the rhythm locked as percussion continues to fire through a forest of hazy harmonics, planting gentle splashes of serotonin along the way, before ultimately breaking off into a groove-centric finale. A sensational remix from Kyotto, rounding out what are three very impressive Movement Recordings debuts for himself, Hobin Rude and DJ Ruby.

The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Analog Jungs back to the label with a remix EP for their previously released track "Uritorco". Analog Jungs is a musical project from Córdoba, Argentina founded by Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte. They recently released music on labels such as Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Songspire & The Soundgarden. For the remixes Kyotto,GastoM and Figueras got invited.

Analog Jungs - Uritorco (Kyotto Remix) [3rd Avenue]

Lisandro has become a firm favourite with the Proton faithful through his meticulously crafted music and elegant melodies. At the forefront of the underground dance scene with his smorgasbord of influences and genre-defying work, the Argentinean producer has seen his work feature on such esteemed imprints as Songuara, Amulanga and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. A notable body of work can also be found on Lisandro's own Flug Lab imprint which continues to go from strength to strength as over a half-century of production credits chart a maturing path. No more is this evident than in February 2023's "Recurrence Soundtracks Netflix" which showcases a dozen electronica inspired pieces that formed the sonic background for the Netflix Spanish language film of the same name.

Proton Music has also seen the Lisandro sound well represented by both original and remix work. A trio of remixes for Erdi Irmak, Magitman and Cream saw the Buenos Aires resident make his presence felt in 2020 and 2021, before December 2022's "Traditions" took centre stage with its luscious soundscapes and head-shaking grooves.

Now returning to Proton Music, the "Eclectic" EP highlights another three tracks rich in imagination and elegant production work. In this musical triptych, Lisandro has explored a host of new ideas, giving rise to a powerful vision and unique sonic identity by pushing the envelope of modern electronic music. Perhaps the last word should be left to the artist himself, with Lisandro having the following to say about his new musical offering.

"I present to you my new EP: "Eclectic". This title reflects my vision of creating music that is a fusion of diverse influences and styles. "Eclectic" is a term used in the musical context to describe an approach that encompasses a wide range of influences and genres, blending them in a unique and original way. In this EP, I have pushed the boundaries of electronic music, merging elements from different genres to create an intriguing and diverse listening experience. Each track in "Eclectic" represents my passion for experimentation and the creation of unique sonic landscapes and club grooves. Immerse yourself in my eclectic musical world and discover the magic of style fusion! As an artist, I am thrilled to share this EP with you, and I hope you enjoy this musical journey as much as I did creating it. Returning to the European electronic music capital once more for its annual gathering, Mango Alley celebrates another Amsterdam Dance Event with the 8th incarnation of its exclusive compilation. A creative aesthetic blossoms in a city renowned for its artistic heritage where an intricate tapestry of art and music blends into a glorious collective assembly. From Grachtengordel to De Wallen and Prinsenelland to Jordaan, a global gathering of artists reunite and forge new friendships under dance music's all-inclusive banner.

Through 22 tracks of innovation and passion, a wonderful world of unity creates a dynamic point of view and a new golden age of art. Thumping beats and shimmering melodies bounce off cobbled streets and historic facades while a network of canals tell their own history in a city imbued with music old and new. Along the Damrak, a kaleidoscopic array or clubs vie for attention in a mesmerising display of sonic brilliance. Moving towards the stars and an inky black night sky, temporary feelings of tension and worry are unburdened in the Amsterdam nightlife, evaporating into the ether on the rising refrains of low-end vibrancy and rippling musical waves.
