Academic music producer, keyboardist and composer B.A.X. comes to us from Vietnam. The connection with music and compositions are something that goes with his personality from an early age, and music production is something he encounters around the age of eighteen.
You can see and hear his music on labels such as Manual, Sound Avenue, Canopy Sounds, Soundteller and many others. The synergy of his musical character and composition leads to his sounds expanding from deep electronic, ambient music, to deep and progressive notes.
“Angel Whispers,” the debut release he signs for One Of A Kind, is representative of all that makes B.A.X. project. The release consists of two tracks where the A side is reserved for the original, which also bears the title of the release, "Angel Whispers" while the B side is a very emotional and beautiful track with a symbolic title, "A View With The Vast Horizon".
All in all, this is a real entry into the world of B.A.X.

Pedro Sanmartin makes a welcome return to Loot Recordings for his first proper single with us. The Spanish born, Norway-based producer delivers three diverse quality tracks that includes remixes from Death On The Balcony and Tuba Twooz.

The opening track “Melting Pot” is a dub-influenced slow burner that clocks in at 115 BPMs. Dubby guitar riffs are accompanied by swelling synth pads and twinkling pianos that sets the tone for the journey ahead. The perfect opener.

Diving into the titled track “Dysania”, its a mesmerizing affair of deep house with a bouncing bassline layered with modular synths and emotional strings. The Death On The Balcony remix increases the energy and remains true to the original with epic strings, dreamy melodies and spoken vocal samples peppered throughout the track. Tuba Twooz deliver a remix that’s a pure dance floor weapon, loaded with twists and turns of potent synth stabs and a throbbing bassline designed for those hands in the air moments.

Closing the release is “Chanking”, a slice of chunky house music that’s driven by big synth stabs, thundering drums and powerful buildups that dramatically increase the tension during all the right moments.

The 34th release on microCastle sees the long awaited re-issue of Grammy nominated producer Barry Jamieson's 'Stars'. The seminal track was originally recorded in 2002 shortly after Evolution disbanded and was subsequently released in 2004 under the alias of Invisible Inc. The track gained huge popularity when Sasha began opening many of his sets with the ambient version well over a year before the official release. The storied UK DJ also featured 'Stars' as the closing track on his famed 'New Emissions of Light and Sound' DVD soundtrack which saw Sasha, Barry and Charlie May win best original score at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in the Extreme Sports film category. It's irresistible and emotionally charged melodies made it one of the most sought after pieces of music at the time and was accompanied by several club interpretations for the official release. John Digweed was also a huge supporter of the record and featured the 'Unbroken' Mix in many of his live and radio sets. For the reissue we have included the original ambient and original club versions which have been previously unavailable along with brand new remixes from label artists Charlie May and Guy J.

Half German, half South African project LADS, started releasing music few years ago, and with their versatile, deep and progressive sounds, they attracted the attention of major labels such as Lost & Found, Rebellion Der Traumer, Click Records, etc. Alias For Everyone, however, is on the scene for a while now. Signed to Balance Music via Hernan’s incredible 2017 mix compilation, Anton is a talent artist finding his stride. 

‘Secret’ is subtlety personified. Deep dubby kicks and thick lofi atmosphere wrap you in a cloak of melancholy, organic plucks and warm pads envelop and familiar feels abound. Teaming up with Treavor Moontribe next, ‘Razor Road’ begins in ambience. Building tension menacingly, the arrival of the kick ushers in a dark energy that is impossible to resist. Deep, powerful and utterly beguiling. Born in 1989 in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam, Bach was taught to play the piano when he was eight years old. Later on he took academic piano lessons at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, graduated the Intermediate Long-term program in 2009 and achieved the Piano Bachelor's degree in 2014. Bach has been playing the piano for more than 10 years now and this impressive sound has had a big influence on his music career ever since he started playing. He then discovered his passion of composing music and started his own project ‘B.A.X.’ at the age of 18. He has spent a lot of time to do research about electronic music and composed his first New Age / Ambient works.

He stepped into the movie filmscore in 2010 and started composing many filmscore for several short films, later on composing filmscore for Vietnamese feature movies from 2014.

He started the DJ career since 2012 with Heart Beat Saigon and since 2016 with HRBR (Harbour Saigon). Through many years of cultivation, the color of his Deep House music has gradually become an unforgettable symbol, a color that melody and harmony are the main euphonious factor. On the dance floor, he develops the music in different angles that you never know what is interesting to expect next, his selection of tracks will make everyone crawl out of their shell, as the music becomes the cocoon.

From here on, he began to produce electronic music for his own dance floor. In 2018, his first release Microcrystals EP was released on MNL label by Paul Hazendonk, the release has been miraculously praised by Paul himself as well as other big names. Also in this year, he then released his track Hallucination Rain in the Muak Sampler compilation on Muak Music label by Zaki, making him more recognizable in the world music scene.

In 2019, he established his new label Holy Grail Music, focusing on his passion for melodic electronic music. As he said, this imprint was a dream that he have cherished for years, an opportunity for him to gradually expand the music production with local artists as well as artists around the world.
