Alan's new works are a hot mixture of Progressive House and Melodic Techno, harmoniously seasoned with melody, light vibe and measured bass. Alan Cerra's tracks sound impressive on the dance floor and create an amazing atmosphere for the audience.

Remixes - by Gux Jimenez from Colombia and Weird Sounding Dude from India - add a bit of a "spice" to the release and present the A-side "Verehis" from unexpected angles and perspectives.

Completing the pack is a B-side original track "Nocturnal", a deeper and more atmospheric piece with a nice dynamic build-up.

"An established star from Russia’s iconic second city, Konstantin Kuranakov has carved out a sizeable niche via his Jiminy Hop production pseudonym. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the St Petersburg resident showcases his “Johlin” EP.
 
Inspired by a love of underground house with a dash of techno thrown in for good measure, Jiminy Hop is no stranger to playlists of DJ elite. Initially inspired by David August’s Boiler Room mix, the Russian producer now counts heavyweights, Sahar Z, Hernan Cattaneo and Alex O’Rion as supporters of his work.
 
With almost 300 production credits to his name, Jiminy Hop has released his music on an array of esteemed independent imprints as the likes of Juicebox Music, Kiksuya Records and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden have all played host to a collection of original and remix production material. Now making himself an instant favourite on GMJ & Matter’s ever-reliable imprint, “Johlin” is a beautifully constructed offering that oozes quality with its cavernous sub-bass groove and shuffling hi-hat percussive line. Progressing with delicately twinkling synth lines, velvety pads swell and ethereal vocals melt into the mid-range. Hitting the heights with a rousing breakdown crescendo, “Johlin” drops into a powerful bassline stormer in the second half to devastating effect as sympathetic piano motifs hit the spot.
 
Immediately establishing itself with powerful bassline sequence and textured pads, “Solunar” continues the progressive house journey. Through use of counterpoint melodies and shimmering synth motif, the track gently develops over its 8-minute timeframe as white-noise effects and risers build tension at the mid-point. Reverting to the strong bassline theme and metronomic rhythmic pattern in the second half, combined with a cascading synth line, the result is an impressive addition to the EP.
 
The final track sees “Colatrix” impress with its deep kick and off-beat house rhythm. Gently pulsating through a swathe of side-chained pads, a trademark bassline sequence emerges through the textured melange while arpeggiated synth lines filter into sonic range. Another beautifully sculpted breakdown sequence showcases Jiminy Hop’s skills in abundance as coruscating sounds blend effortlessly against a dynamic percussive backdrop.
 
A very welcome addition to the Meanwhile family, Jiminy Hop hits the ground running with “Johlin”."

Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint opens the Spring season by presenting the fifth installment of it's 'Correlation' series. Released in August of 2017, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of untapped talent along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. The label's borderless music policy was also well represented, showcasing a wide spectrum of electronica, from organic house to melodic house and deeper progressive grooves. Released in 2020, the label's third edition landed with resounding success, as the lead selection 'Kafka' by Ercos Blanka racked up over two and a half million Spotify plays across the year. In past editions, Sound Avenue has kept the track selection concise, with an average of just ten submissions making the final release. The continued growth of label affiliates 3rd Avenue, Crossfade Sounds, and Future Avenue have propelled the label's demo submissions exponentially across the last year. Add to that, a continually expanding music policy, and the 2022 edition of ‘Correlation' was finalized with a hefty thirty-two selections. Added to the label's club-centric sounds are shades of electronica, dubbed out techno, and more, making the fifth installment of the series it's most far-reaching and satisfying to date.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint unveils their Bandcamp Exclusives series by welcoming Leon Lobato back to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Mexico, Leon Lobato has been crafting his deep, atmospheric brand of house for the last half decade. Quickly recognized for his unique style and fresh approach, the Mexico City resident found a home on some of the genre’s trendiest imprints, such as RYNTH, Seven Villas, The Purr and Where The Heart Is. No stranger to Sound Avenue, Leon has made two appearances on the label’s popular ‘Correlation’ series, while recording three originals and two remixes for fledgling affiliate 3rd Avenue. Continuing to build a bond with the label, Leon now steps up for his first Sound Avenue EP project, a three- track artist showcase entitled ‘INU’.

3rd Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella.
