The latest offering from Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint finds the label showcasing new interpretations of Mariner + Domingo's ‘Inertia'. Released in September of last year and played by Sebastian Leger and Tim Green, the two-track showcase proved to be one of the defining releases in what was a standout year for the American duo. Now bringing new life to the well-received EP, Sound Avenue invites Powel, Tristan Case & Tom Barlow and Orange & Indigo to re-imagine the tracks for 2022. 

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of ‘I Still Remember' is Powel. With a career that now spans over a decade, Berlin based artist Powel has continued to delight organic house aficionados with his releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and more. As a favourite of the genre's tastemakers, Powel made his Sound Avenue debut in 2019 with a gorgeous rendition of ‘Pearl' by Paula OS. A groovy yet impassioned take on the track that earned praise from Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren, Modd, Roy Rosenfeld and Sasha. Now following the release of his latest Do Not Sit On The Furniture vehicle ‘Back To The Beginnings', Powel returns to Sound Avenue with a heartfelt interpretation of ‘I Still Remember'. Pitched somewhere comfortably between dreamy reverie and groovy bliss, it's a version equally at home above a daytime dance floor or sitting in the emotional sweet spot of an end of the night scenario. Captivating and poignant in equal measure, it's playful nature only furthers Powel's uncanny ability to achieve natural elegance and tasteful patience through his music.

Providing the first interpretation for ‘Inertia' are Tristan Case & Tom Barlow. Renowned for his dreamy yet reassuringly tough and beautifully balanced approach to deep house, UK born, Australia based artist Tristan Case has carved out a sound all his own. From his 2020 debut on Do Not Sit On The Furniture to more recent offerings via Flug Lab, onedotsixtwo and UGENIUS Music, the Sydney resident has enjoyed a three-year creative swell. This inventive period also yielded his Sound Avenue debut, with a contribution to the label's popular ‘Correlation' series landing in April of last year. Also finding a home on the label affiliate 3rd Avenue, Tristan now returns to Sound Avenue alongside fellow Sydney resident Tom Barlow for a spirited take on ‘Inertia'. Having collaborated twice previously, the creative synergy between Tristan and Tom continues to grow, as the duo crafts a remix that is sure to send people home with a smile. Gentle flutters build and atmospheres emerge across a warm voluptuous groove and trails of bubbly sonics, before a widescreen, cinematic style break ultimately seals its brilliance. It's this tasteful amalgamation of grandiose themes which proves most captivating perhaps, touching the listener with moments of hope and inspiration, before segueing into a finale of buoyant beats, organic percussion and fragmented themes. 

The release concludes with Orange & Indigo making his label debut and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Inertia'. Based in Australia and formerly known as Khetouin, the Sydney resident first made waves by winning 3rd Avenue's Choon remix competition in 2018, a production which eventually led to an appearance on Sound Avenue's popular ‘Correlation' series in 2019. 2020 saw the birth of Orange & Indigo however, setting the course for a new organic journey which has yielded standout offerings via 3rd Avenue, RYNTH and The Purr.

Mariner + Domingo - Inertia (Orange & Indigo Remix) [Sound Avenue]

The latest offering from Sound Avenue finds the label presenting new interpretations of 'Turmeric Latte' by Madloch Subnode and Pedro Capelossi. Originally released in November of 2020 as part of the trio's EP under the same name its smoky late-night charm resonated with DJs and fans alike making for a hugely successful first-time collaborative project from Madloch Subnode and Pedro. Now looking to bring new life to the much-loved track Sound Avenue invites Nhar Darper and Erol Arda to re-imagine the production for the summer of 2022.

Making his label debut and providing the first interpretation of ‘Turmeric Latte' is Nhar. With a career that now stretches the better part of two decades French artist Bernhard Siefert aka Nhar has showcased his deep and atmospheric sound via Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant Azzur Darkroom Dubs Mobilee Records Seven Villas and more. Also highly regarded as a live performer and DJ Nhar has continued to travel the world mesmerizing crowds with his elusive brand of mesmerizing electronic music. Now on the strength of a remix for Everything WIll Be OK Nhar adds Sound Avenue to his resume with a spirited take on ‘Turmeric Latte'. While keeping the spirit of the original in mind Nhar lightens the mood with a version that's sure to resonate across dance floors with its charismatic design and youthful exuberance. Undeniably positive throughout its buoyant bass tones do wonders to create depth space and swing while vocal fragments emerge with a tasteful elegance against a backdrop of cascading arps and colourful effects pushing onwards to a smooth finale.

Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of June by showcasing new interpretations Nopi's ‘Where To Go'. Released in October of 2020 as part of the Ukrainian artist's ‘Where To Go' EP, the lead selection anchored the four track showcase with its hopeful vocal phrasing and emotive musicality. Supported by organic and progressive house DJs alike, Sound Avenue now looks to bring new life to the track by inviting Domingo +, Eric Lune and Tristan Case & Tom Barlow to re-imagine it for 2022's summer season. 

Also making a welcome return to Sound Avenue with the second interpretation of ‘Where To Go' is Eric Lune. The long-standing Belgian imprint served as the landing spot for Eric's first ever release, a contribution to the label's popular Summer Sampler series in 2018. Building a bond with the label going forward, the Aussie artist delivered the well received EP projects ‘Embers' and ‘Dreaming Home' in 2019 and 2021 respectively. Also calling Balance Music, Plattenbank and Proton Music home, Eric now brings his melodic mastery back to Sound Avenue with a gorgeous take on ‘Where To Go'. From warm, rhythmic beginnings comes redolent themes and heartfelt sonics. Gentle flutters build and balmy atmospheres emerge, perfectly setting stage for incandescent vocals and creamy arps to forge a path into the break. Fuzzed out textures create moments of hope and reflection as the centrepiece evolves, before smoothly segueing into a thumping finale which is sure to send people home with a smile.

The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Umannto from Germany to the label with two beautiful originals: "Book Of Kreos" and "Sietch Of Alhen".

Umannto (born 1985 in Ulm) is a German music producer and filmmaker from Stuttgart.
It all started with his love for the hip-hop culture. In his youth Umannto produced beats, wrote poetry and learned to rap and to DJ. He made his first music videos and performed with his friends in youth houses and clubs. Because of his wide musical taste, he soon produced music in a variety of genres - drum 'n' bass, dubstep, and house music.
In 2013, he released the album "Django Boogie" with his first band, Lucid Dream - a novel mixture of rap, funk and electro.
He has also gained a foothold in the film industry. He wrote screenplays, directed commercials and corporate films, and worked as a producer.

Later he developed a love for ancient folk music from the Orient, Balkan and other parts of the world. And the sound of his latest Organic House songs is characterized by these influences.
Driving oriental drums, mystic oud sounds and samples from old records from the Middle East are often part of his unique style.
When he performs live, he mixes his own songs with selected Organic House tracks from other producers and creates a very eclectic experience.
In 2021 his EP "Arabian Flower" was released by the label Cafe De Anatolia. And in spring 2022 a new track will be released by the Swedish House label HMWL.
