Sound Avenue opens the month of November with a new EP from label boss Madloch and frequent studio partner Subnode. Now approaching five years in their creative partnership, the Belgian duo has continued to build on their creative synergy, in turn compiling a catalog of resonant worldly sounds, one which has delighted a broad spectrum of electronic tastemakers in Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier and Nick Warren. Often incorporating elements of dub, deep and progressive house; the duo’s cleverly coaxed creations dive into a whirlpool of spiralling directions; a trait which makes each one of their new projects much-anticipated. With the year being highlighted by the recently released two-track showcase ‘A Fading Dream’, Madloch and Subnode now combine their extensive forces once again, returning to Sound Avenue with the thoughtful ‘Club Del Ocio’, alongside remixes from about : river, Andrés Moris and Alexander Bogdanovic.

The freshest offering from Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint greets the return of Rossalto from Greece. This marks his debut EP titled "Between The Lines," encompassing the tracks "Air" and "Rising Hope." Rossalto initially introduced himself to our label in 2021 through the renowned "We Are The Future" compilation, and since then, he has graced our Future Avenue label on multiple occasions with both original compositions and remixes. His talent has extended to other esteemed labels as well, including Suprematic, Stellar Fountain, Cafe De Anatolia LAB, Zenebona, and Dialtone Records.

This one’s been years in the making — literally. I started Breakthroughs over 3 years ago and just couldn’t give up on it. Something in me knew it had to be finished, but the mix and arrangement were never quite there… until now.

I’m proud to say this is the final version. It feels complete. It feels right.
And I hope it connects with you in your own way.

The title Breakthroughs comes from a very personal place — a chapter of my life where I took some big steps, faced heavy challenges, but came out on the other side with a new perspective. These moments cracked something open in me, and I wanted to reflect that in the music.

You’ll also hear some spoken word samples — real stories of people who died and came back, sharing messages from “the other side.” Those accounts stuck with me, and I felt compelled to include them. Maybe something in it resonates with you too.

I’ve recently started finishing tracks much faster — some in 4 hours, others in a few days — and I’m excited to share those soon. They’re clubbier, dirtier, more underground… but for now, here’s Breakthroughs, exactly as it was meant to be.

P.S. The cover art is a photo I took with my phone during a moment of peace while DJing on a cruise ship. Felt fitting to pair it with this release.
