Madloch's 3rd Avenue's newest release brings Travis Jesse back to the label with his "On Swings EP". The EP includes the two progressive tracks, "On Swings" and "One Talisman", along with more ambient/electronica tracks "Emarque" and "Jessamine (Night Bloom Mix)". Travis made his production debut on our "We Are The Future" compilation back in 2019 and has since become a regular on the label. In addition to releasing music on the Sound Avenue labels, he has also featured his work on esteemed labels such as Particles, Soundteller, and One Of A Kind.

First up, label boss Gav brings this super deep Prog Track, rolling drums and driving basslines and club ready groove underpins soothing soundscapes throughout.

Next up, we welcome Jelly For Babies with his brilliant version, deep swelling basslines kick things off and the track opens up as it progresses through the gears with magical melodic tones and superb synth melodies - simply stunning!

Following a defining year, Ric Niels has been lighting up the Prog House scene with his unique sound and this certainly doesn't disappoint, playful grooves and basslines while utilising the original sounds - Enjoy!

I thought I'd set a challenge for myself while learning the Intellijel Atlantix by making a track with 100% sounds created with the module. From percussion, bass, pads, and chords, to textural effects, everything was created with the Atlantix and recorded into Ableton where I layered sounds and built out an arrangement. 

Added some slight compression and reverb/delay to certain tracks using Valhalla Delay, VintageVerb, and FutureVerb.

I'll take another pass at this track to sub out some sounds — particularly the chords, as I don't like how they sit in the mix, and sequencing and recording each note of the chord individually and layering in Ableton was a faff.

Overall, enjoyed the experiment and learnt a lot about what the Atlantix is capable of! Constraints breed creativity.
