Bio: The Shadowfox persona is a place to explore darker themes and heavier, more aggressive sounds. The creator behind the mask is a multi media artist that uses art to bring people together, although not always under this alias. The Kaleidofox project is still the main source of inspiration, and has a lighter style best described as medicine music. Both styles are like nothing that you've experienced before, even with the heavy influence of deep dub and the underground bass scene. The reason for this is because of their study with a wide range of instruments in many different types of settings combined with the intensity and profundity of their life. From living under a bridge in their teens to living in the mountains with monks. From singing in concert halls to playing in marching bands to busking with a guitar. When all of these aspects come together in the exploration of music, you get something unique that you have to experience to believe.

After self-producing several of his own solo albums throughout the 2000’s, Cecil Otter rose to fame as one half of the mashup duo Wugazi, a remix project that overlapped the gritty raps of Wu-Tang Clan with the sounds of post-rock vets Fugazi.  The project went instantly viral and garnered high praise from the likes of NBC, Rolling Stone, MTV, and even Jay-Z’s own site, Life + Times.  Dear Echo marks Cecil’s first new collection of solo material since 2008’s Rebel Yellow.
