This track is really just a rough draft of a concept. It was initially intended to be part of a series called "Beats on Film" ( http://beatsonfilm.tumblr.com/ ) but I opted to chop up the movie "HUD" instead ( https://soundcloud.com/beatsonfilm/hud-wav ).
ALL sounds originated from "The Man with the Golden Arm" (1955).
Some effects have been added and some samples have been manipulated beyond recognition. All sampling and sequencing was done with a Korg microSAMPLER. The scratching was done on a Stanton C304 CD turntable. The output was recorded with Harmonicdog's MultitrackDAW app on a 3rd gen iPod Touch via the Belkin TuneTalk.
