Much loved underground community organisation Parry Talks has announced the release of their sophomore, record label, charity compilation, Parry Talks Alumni Volume II. The 4 track compilation comes off the back of an extremely successful debut release which raised $1500 for NSW Aboriginal Legal Service. Now the tracklist has opened up to Sydney/Eora’s noisy neighbours in Melbourne/Naarm for a charity release with 100% of the revenue being dedicated to Smugglers of Light. This digital only, bandcamp exclusive release features a who's who of the incredible underground scenes, featuring Purient, DAWS, Posture and Glen S.

The charity which every cent of the compilation will contribute funds to is Smugglers of Light.
The Foundation was created to provide assistance to young indigenous musicians and youth at risk through programs of taking film-makers and musicians to their communities. The charity introduces songwriting and musicianship and performance skills for First Nations communities, assists n the provision of musical education and training to persons in the area of youth and indigenous music, in order to improve the outreach of musical education and storytelling in Australia, to facilitate musical development and innovation in Australian indigenous communities; and to encourage the performance of contemporary community music.

DAVIN UNDERWOOD is a u.s. native currently residing in Hamburg, where he is a member of the @isleofwax collective which hosts parties, a dj mix series and a youtube channel dedicated to lesser-known records that deserve a second look. he is also the host of 'uniform variations' on hamburg's hallo:radio, where he explores classic and contemporary sounds in electronic music from ambient to club-oriented dance music. for the beyond series, davin chose to focus on one of his favourite underground movements in dance music history: the golden era of italo house from 1989-1993, colloquially referred to as 'italian dream house'. as he draws from his collection of largely unknown records (and a few classics) from the period, you can expect warm piano chords, elements of balearic, ambient and deep house, with a loved-up, hands-in-the-air finish.

A project that’s been in the works since his label debut back in 2017, the “Cody Currie EP” is a refined statement of the rising star producer’s UK-jazz and club roots, both danceable and introspective. Enlisting a talented roster of collaborators, such as vocalists Stee Downes, RNT mainstay Cor.ece, and newcomer Marlena Dae as well as instrumentalists Mikeal and Ally McMahon, each track is like a little world of its own in the universe of Cody’s vast musical aesthetic. To round out the EP we have a stellar remix from European deep house royalty Vincenzo, who shows that his production tools are still sharp as ever.

Turbojazz's label Last Forever Records welcomes another Italian talent in its roaster of excellent producers: BRINE - Hails from Bologna but raised as a DJ between London and Miami via San Francisco and Japan, Marco is among the most interesting figures on the scene between deep house and broken beat.

This is demonstrated by this EP too, after releases for labels such as Flat White (UK) and Close To Truth (US) to name a few, where he broadly covers the spectrum ranging from the funky and wonky house of the EP track "The Way I Do It" to nu disco with "Got Groove" and then moving on to more broken and deep atmospheres with "Push Up On Me" done together with the mysterious AL7! and ending with the visionary song "Chill [DAAAM!] featuring Los Angeles very own's mc VRGO.
