Fascinated by the virtual and its societal and sociological repercussions, this mix was inspired by Jack Latham's Beggars Honey.

[FR] Au travers d'une radio déréglée sur la longueur d'onde de l'orange, un nuancier d'orange est esquissé, via des références culturelles contrastées.
Orange comme le couchant ardent, orange comme teinte dans les tableaux, dynamique, chaleureuse et vivante.
Dans cet exposé de nuances, on trouve cependant des contrastes  : l'orange est bien la couleur complémentaire du bleu, symbole de l'apaisement et de la stabilité, mais aussi du froid. Ces contradictions  s'expriment au travers des rythmes breakés et agressifs, et des références choisies.

Through a radio tuned to the orange wavelength, a spectrum of orange is sketched out, via contrasting cultural references.
Orange as the fiery sunset, orange as a hue in paintings, dynamic, warm and lively. However, there are also contrasts: orange is the complementary color to blue, the symbol of calm and stability, but also of cold. These contradictions are expressed in the breakbeat and aggressive rhythms, and in the references chosen.

As a newly joined resident on LineOut Radio, I’m truly honored to launch Echoes of Dystopia, my monthly show.

Echoes of Dystopia is a space for sonic storytelling through electronic music, a space where sound becomes fiction, resistance, atmosphere, collapse, memory.

The idea was born from a feeling:
that dystopia is no longer just a literary genre.
It’s becoming part of our daily lives - in gestures, in silence, in noise.
But dystopia isn’t only about doom -
it’s a lens through which we feel, process, and move forward.
A way to make sense, or to fall apart.
A way to dance despite everything.

Each month, a mix to explore this terrain through one-hour journeys that dive into the strange, the dark, the hypnotic. There are no genre constraints - only a desire to narrate, to disturb, to evoke.

For the visual identity of the show, I had the joy and honor of collaborating with @nathmabar, a deeply talented artist whose vision resonated beautifully with the concept.
She created the haunting and graceful artwork that opens the space.

Artificial paradises are not only substances, they are inner refuges, states of consciousness where we dissolve in order to regenerate, where the outside chaos finally falls silent.
One suspended hour, at the heart of obsessive rhythms, between sensory mirages and flashes of well-being, on that thin line where we waver between loss of self and reinvention, a fragile threshold between vertigo and rebirth, when dystopia itself becomes a support for escape.
