Shifting lights wander through hollow chambers where silence takes root. Time folds between clarity and ruin, carrying with it fragments of warmth wrapped in dust. Each echo floats like a half-remembered question, tracing the boundary between creation and surrender. In the silence that follows, even stillness feels alive: soft, radiant, waiting to begin anew.

This is a compilation of a wide spectrum of bass music from artists of Russia & Ukraine who've taken part in the activity of DUB'RAW - South Russian soundsystem community. 

The idea of creating this compilation was born in June 2018 at the DUB'RAW Camp (annual summer soundsystem weekend at the Black Sea coast). As the story goes, when a few artists created original tracks during the DUB'RAW Camp we decided we have to give further life to such strong and creative vibes in one entire compilation. That's why we named this compilation the "Campilation" as a tribute to this memorable camp. Then we asked affiliated artists to create music which would be inspired by the DUB'RAW and DUB'RAW Camp particularly (some of them gave us prepared but not published and unsigned tracks). 

Finally we’ve compiled a list of some of Russia's/Ukraine's most exciting bass producers and mc's / singjays - both emerging and established, across all spectrums of bass music which we’ve loved listening live over the past years on DUB'RAW events. It's remarkable that a large part of involved artists are presenting South Russia, where DUB'RAW got it's roots. Musically most of the tracks represent different sides of bass music though all of them are united by solid rhythm, weighty bass and soundsystem esthetic.   

The last four tracks are something special for us. These're our dubplates (versions of original tracks (with reconstructed riddims to be exact) which are recorded specially for particular soundsystem to praise it) with lyrics from remarkable vocalists on the Russian reggae scene - Tenor Youthman, Prophet P & Neekeetone and gifted South Russian mc Toshi TAK-TO

We are proud to present some of the best contemporary bass music in Russia/Ukraine to both local and international audiences and collectors. We give thanks and respect to all who were involved in creating this piece of art. Hope you enjoy!
