The Fabulous Marking Time is an American Roots and Rockabilly band based in the Adirondack Mts. of New York State. Our focus is the music of the lower Mississippi where Mark lived in the 1980s. As a band member of Uncle Ben and his Nephews (a original Beale St. Blues Band fronted by legendary guitarist and songwriter Ben Perry) Mark heard and played with many outstanding members of the Memphis music scene. Mark has since located himself in upstate NY where we keep the music hot in spite of the cold long winters. 

The Fabulous Marking Time delivers danceable numbers as well as slow bluesy ballads all mixed up in a southern gumbo of fantastic music.
