Nianova and Danny Domingo are colourful, loud, and put a smile on everyone’s face with their warm charisma. You could briefly think that the two are from the future but leased the ’80s for their style. Since 2018, their Indie Dance and Italo Disco DJ sets bring a lot of fun and a good mood to the dance floors. The symbiosis between ’80s Synths and modern good-feel or driving basslines always fascinated them and with the start of the pandemic they combined their skills. Nianova as a musician and Danny as an electronic music DJ for over a decade. Connected through the love for the sound of the ’80s they started their first productions. After a year of experimenting and producing, they released their first tracks on the Hamburg-based label Verflixt Music in 2021 and hit the Beatport Top 10 Indie Dance Album Charts with their “Sphärenharmonie” EP.

Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, resident DJs for fifteen years and counting at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution. 

Since the 2019 release of their EPs Black Cat (Optimo Music) and She Takes NRG (Ivan smagghe's Les Disques De la mort), the Zillas have been busy building a steady catalog of EPs, tracks, and remixes for labels like Polari, Nocturne, Dischi Autunno, Inside Out, Multi Culti, Throne of Blood, Microdosing, and more. Along the way, they’ve garnered support from futuristic fellow travelers like Roman Flügel, Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Justin Strauss, Bradley Zero, Sean Johnston, and many others. Deep in the studio or out in the club, the Zillas mix slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

Counterterraism Guest Mix 214: Zillas On Acid

After their remix of 'Ritmica La Noar' from Eliezer & Mufti, included on Eliezer's recent release on Play Pal, French duo Kimshies are back on board, this time on our mix series, with one hour that faithfully reflects their signature sound of raw, cold and twisted analogue grooves.

In 2004 they released "Chicago 72", limited to 500 vinyl copies and it was not until May 2018, when the public discovered it during Solomun's 'Cercle' set at the Orange Roman Theatre.
Peo Watson and Bijou Williams have known each other for over 20 years now but it was in part this late exposure, what made them get back together in the studio and start making new music again. Music  we've seen released lately on labels such as Aeon, Ombra Intl, Duro or with us at Play Pal.

SINCHI is an Amsterdam based collective of musicians, producers, artists and writers searching for those all too brief moments of truth through their chosen medium.  They have released a number of EP's on Dutch label "NightNoise" over the last couple of years with remixes from friends including Moscoman (that we premiered here at LYO), Heretic and FLVN amongst others.  In addition, they host their "Sinchi & Friends" mix series on their blog with track premieres from artists around the world.
In 2016, they launched their annual "Altered States" festival in Amsterdam. 
Sinchi is also behind www.sinchi-tribe.com, a non profit focused on the preservation of indigenous culture & knowledge. Coming soon will be a groundbreaking collaboration with aboriginal tribes and their traditional songlines with some of todays leading electronic music producers such as Tolouse Low Trax, Moscoman, Joy Orbison, Borusiade, Gilb’R or Heretic amongst others.
