The next carefully assembled Delsin re-issue EP is four tracks of slick electro from VC-118A aka Samuel van Dijk, who also released on Delta Funktionen's Radio Matrix and the Clone affiliated Frustrated Funk label. This EP was originally released on AC Records in 2015, strictly limited and only sold by the label itself.

All four cuts are electro of the highest order: opener 'Vaxna' is a mid tempo, atmospheric piece that places you in the middle of a desolate futuristic landscape, while 'Sepia' is a more rueful track that encourages your mind to wander amongst its thoughtful pads and sombre chords. It's timeless and tender machine music that’s followed up by 25h, which has an astral feel. Beautifully smeared pads and a nimble bassline cast you free deep in the cosmos. The EP closes in style with 'Versicolor', an emotive electro jam with clever arrangements and immerse sounds.

Proceeding the well-received ‘Move Like Atoms’, @morelian returns with a three-track EP ‘Radical Spectacular’ to be released on Fever AM - the label she runs with @rhyw.  

Marking Mor’s ninth release, ‘Radical Spectacular’ continues to highlight her unique take on techno. Her interpretation of the genre is influenced by the fascination with layering multiple drum patterns, pulling from styles she grew up on such as UKG, electro and IDM as well as the more traditional ethic sequence, leading to her own hybrid style.

Taking an alternative direction with ‘Radical Spectacular’, the release showcases Mor’s dynamic production palette. As the title track and ‘Wave Alienation’ build upon atmospheric melodies and murky basslines, the EP rounds off with ‘Farewell to The Snare’; a heldback whirlwind of tight breaks and robotic, paranoid arpeggios.

Following his solo 12" debut in November on AC Records, Armec returns with a 4-track EP on Echocentric Records. 

The music on offer is rich and emotional, microworlds of subtle melodies, pads and sci-fi drones that ooze both melancholy and hope, and will appeal to anyone into electro, IDM and techno.

A-side is a nod to Robbie's IDM roots. Just check the expansive soaring synth-work on "Auden" and the analogue moods of "Conceptualise". The droney, murky & dystopian sci-fi soundscapes of side B offer another view into Armec's production work.

Keep an eye out for Armec in 2020, more quality releases on their way.

This track was inspired by a Chinese folktale: A fox was about to be eaten by a tiger, but claimed himself to be the king of the beasts. To prove it, the fox asked the tiger to walk right behind him and planned to use the tiger´s awe to frighten other animals in the forest. The track creates the tension between the two animals with layers of effects jumping into the percussive sound. To find out what happens, listen until the end.
