Alberta Balsam is a music producer, DJ and live act from Rotterdam. She produces the kind of electronic music that borders on techno, IDM and electronica. Sometimes experimental and sometimes surprisingly accessible. As her name already suggests, (Alberta Balsam is derived from one of AFX tracks), she's influenced by artists like Aphex Twin, Clark, Lakker and Four Tet. Her heavy and dark beats are often ofset by spacious and wide synths and snippets of vocals, often heavily processed. Having a musical background as a keyboard player and a music production student at the conservatory of Rotterdam, Alberta is clearly obsessed with intricate and at times complicated harmonies and syncopated beats.
Alberta Balsam was already present on Red Bull Mixtape Vol 4, featured on the Fog Mountain Compilation 010 and Beatitude Vol 4 by Lowriders Recordings. She also played the 2016 MTV Rec festival

Control Freak co-founder Customer Service returns to the label with his second EP, Amygdala. As both a DJ and producer, Hong Kong-born, London-based Customer Service thrives in a genre-defying nether zone - rooted in familiar dancefloor grooves, but with a distinctive, off kilter sense of rhythm and melody that instantly mark his productions out.
With previous music supported from the likes of Ben UFO, upsammy & Oceanic, Tom Ravenscroft, Solid Blake, dBridge, re:ni and more, this record follows the thread of previous Customer Service releases, exploring deep, trippy and murky textures rooted in techno & electro soundscapes. Rounding off the record, @pugilistmusic remixes Lean Forward, adding a murky, broken groove to the detailed fabric of the original, and Customer Service collaborates with CF cofounder @finnaman on a similarly richly-textured closing track, Useless Knowledge.

Matthew Coulombe aka @nixtrove is a Canadian producer and live performer. Initially pursuing the drums as a practice as well as sound engineering, Matthew turned to electronic music production as a means of expression. Working with computer software, hardware, samples and field recordings, he now has a prolific discography under the Nixtrove moniker. His first record label release is due with independent Brussels-based label @perspektiflabel , called Hexagons; 6 tracks of immersive ambient electronic beats soon to be released on cassette.
