UNKNOWN season work & collaborate for this remixes album with one of Tokyo’s street & music culture’s pioneer OIRAN MUSIC together.
Yuki's remix is a slow-motion balearic dubby acid sound that matches the dance floor at dawn. This is a long dub mix that lasts more than 10 minutes and changes into various expressions. Taking advantage of the slow-motion acid house colors he has shown on various labels, this remix has a very unique structure with vintage delay sounds, oriental voices and balearic trance melody. It was created with his flair as a DJ digging all styles of dance music vinyls. Enjoy this unique and euphoric oriental dub remix from Tokyo.

Polymathic musician Terry Grant envisioned More Ghost Than Man in a separate territory than his pre-existing discography (which includes vocal collaborations with dance music luminaries like John Digweed and Luke Solomon). More Ghost Than Man is grittier, darker, and explores in-between spaces. Most of all, it's a chance to come clean and survey the fringes. More Ghost Than Man also blends the growing influence of film on Terry's art, as songs follow his movie visions suggestively and, as in 2019's So Soon The Dark, literally. Take his songs as mind movies realized, but the footage now seems scratchier and increasingly sourced from covert surveillance. 
 That brings us to The Worlds We Made There, the second long-playing effort from More Ghost Than Man. It's an album that began with confidence back in the distant year of 2019, but the jarring shift into the new decade infused it with uncertainty and absurdity. The songs feel vibrant and lush, filled with intimate textures that shimmer with warmth, but there's an undeniable tension. Uncomfortable emotions lie under the surface. "I blame the majority of it on the stress of living through a catastrophic tornado," explains Terry, who resides in Nashville. "As well as a pandemic that destroyed the industries I was a part of and a particularly terrible election year — all at once. I was genuinely angry, and I used that energy to write the album. It ended up a shout into the void about the way the world seems to be falling apart at the seams."

Swedish label When Disco Goes Wrong, curated by local heroes Mindbender and Högt I Tak (SXDNS179), features seasoned DJ and producer Pawel Kobak for its 13th release. No remixes this time, only originals– and extremely well-produced originals, we’d say. It was a tough mission to choose one to premiere/review. In his “BuzzBuzz” EP, Pawel showcases his ability to bring together his (many) influences, delivering an interesting concoction of soundscapes. Deep, Progressive, and Classic House elements combined with shards of Trance and Techno, that’s what we found when were getting familiar with the EP.

The chosen one, “Deep Sea Creatures”, despite its aquatic-inspired title, enchants with an enticing cosmic atmosphere. Presenting a restless minimalistic synth lead, the theme reaches its zenith when the gorgeous Bizarre-Inc-meets-Marshall-Jefferson-inspired piano line takes the stage, providing an “oh yes, right there, this is it!” moment.

Yuki Tosaya is mainly focused to Dj on Vinyl and therefore is quite popular in the electronic underground scene around Tokyo.

He produces his own music with the focus on acid house and released music on numerous labels like Ancient Future Now(Germany), Codek Records(NYC), STRICTLY GROOVE RECORDINGS(Italy), NIGHT NOISE MUSIC(Netherlands), Emerald & Doreen(Germany), Turquoise Records(Spain), Beats Of No Nation(Australia), UNKNOWN season(Tokyo), ELASTIC DIMENSION RECORDS(US), Melomana Records(Spain), Kiwi Bear Records(UK), Golden Forest Records(France), Electric Music Foundation(US) and FUTUREBOOGIE RECORDINGS(UK).
