The next installment on @feinestier is being delivered by none other than musician, poet and enfant terrible extraordinaire @bryankessler and boy, does he deliver indeed, giving us „An Idea Of What We Could Be If We Were Not Ourselves“. And however you might decode this idea personally (as it is brought to us in the language of music), it is certainly a precisely shaped one. All over the EP Bryan is bringing the goods with his signature raw-yet-meticuosly-arranged production style introducing sudden flashes of ecstasy, be it with some surprise trancy synth stabs (on the title track), red-herring-piano-chords („Forgot to Forget“) or raunchy sax samples („Fingernails and Breakfast“). As you already might’ve noticed by now, Bryan is also on top of his naming game, giving us the (un-)aptly named „Minimal Sucks Hard“, which contains a hard-hitting beat that reads like a Kessleresque variation of a Rominimal House tune. So to give you a summarizing evaluation of the countless ideas flowing around in this EP: When in doubt, go Kessler!

Our busy Bavarian boy Dominik Marz makes a hard hitting return on Feines Tier with his new „For All Time“ EP. Such a title demands for big emotions, big synths, big breaks, and naturally Dominik brings them all! With his trademark sense for stripped-down on-the-nose drum patterns paired with in-your-face bass riffs and laser-focused sample usage he makes sure to bring any dancefloor to that rolling boiling Marz level. You know, that collective state of consciousness where nobody really knows when it actually began and everybody hopes for it never to stop with the perpetual urge to raise your hands and scream some undefined sounds of joy. We could go through the individual tracks and explain what makes each of them great, but better simply dive in yourselves, as with this one, you can’t really miss anyway!

PREMIERE: Dominik Marz - The Shell [Feines Tier]

Oblako Maranta is the collaboration between Radial Gaze and A-Tweed. The duo has already released several tracks in different compilations by Samo Records, Electric  Shapes, Playground Records, as well as their debut EP “Maranta Kicks” on Duro. 
In their new EP “Trance Beckenbauer”, the St-Petersburg-based Radial Gaze and  Rome-based A-Tweed produced 4 original tracks that finely blend the sound of each  artist, where slow tribal techno meets acid weird disco. 

Starting off with the title track “Trance Beckenbauer”, Oblako Maranta brings us through  a cinematic voyage, paced by percussive wonders and catchy bass lines, hypnotizing  the listener from the first kick on. The atmosphere is dark, trippy, beautifully loved in an  analog synth “duvet”. With that feeling of timelessness, “Trance Beckenbauer” sounds  like the perfect fit for the next Blade Runner´ s soundtrack. 

Next on the tracklisting is “Putos Mosquitos”, a tune that gives a feel of crossing a jungle  full of wild life, with weird acid patterns on repeat, groovy percussions, and that sense of  limitless adventure as the track plays on. 

“Congarella di Luna” is a bewitching tune blending a mesmerizing melody with dreamy  pads, finely arranged as the drop brings the energy down before reaching its paroxysm:  an irresistible melodic pattern that will leave no one still on the dancefloor. 
The fourth track “Analog Garbage” ´should bring any human being on the planet to an  ecstatic state as it infuses that energy that makes you move fast and forward, without  looking back. Indeed, “Analog Garbage” is driven by a fat bass riff and a kick-drum that  tirelessly hammers the pace, while acid melodies are raining as the track unfolds. And  there is that drop… 

The EP is completed with first-in-class remixes by Inigo Vontier and Zillas on Acid, who  reworked “Putos Mosquitos” and “Congarella di Luna”, respectively.

Cover Art “Lost Garden” by Michael Rozen (@m.rozen). His paintings grapple with worsening impacts of humans on our ecosystems, bearing witness to a range of psychological responses to climate change.
Head honcho of Belly Dance Services Nick Hanzo unites his talent with Heidenreich and das molekuel, Drehmoment leads us through a trippy journey of deep vocals, massive percussions and psy pads, definitely a great track to start the VA.
With releases on Calypso, Lille based Feines Tier and Hardfist, , together the great Kubebe debuting on Bonkers with “Kenya West” a slow paced banger, with a unique combination of driving synths and mind blowing basslines.
Madrid based JGR & Yahaira, join forces once again to deliver “Galactica Oriental”, bringing some lightness to the compilation, with soft and delightful percussions, driving mind synths and shiny nuances.
Releasing for the second time with us the very talented Anastasia Zems, now based in Lisbon, Portugal, brings “Shadow Theatre” a track that shows a heavy bass line, acid leads, rough vocals and a hypnotic sequence of synths .
Hailing from Madrid, part of Honest Allies the DJ, Producer and Visual artist Lebollet, delivers “Jindama” a Kraut Rock inspired track, with some guitars riffs mixed with a chubby bass line and some organic drums.
“Encantamiento” by Ledi Cannit is a slow pace, Indie Dance track which exudes an enchanting atmosphere, highlighted by vocals that feels like a dark incantation. This piece is a departure from Ledi’s usual style, showcasing her versatility as an artist. The song’s essence leans towards the gloom, casting a mysterious and enigmatic aura.
Head of the label Ludviq, join forces with the amazing Brazilian producer Mandruvá, “Tantalus” is a mix of some recordings from British Columbia landscapes, some raw vocals recorded by Ludviq, a bunch of trippy percussions and of course a little bit of madness.
To close the VA, having the DJ, producer and live performer from Tel Aviv, Yotam Russo brings “Short on the Liquor” a gap between Indie, Disco, and Rave filled with Rock n Roll soundscapes and Punk attitude, which is the representation of his signature sound.

IDWT comes back with a bang with the eleventh release of its catalogue, featuring the presence of Fernando Alvarez -the Mexican producer / mastermind behind ØBLVN- and  his personal project Valmaiin, with the single “Fetichismo”. Alvarez, who’s been trying his hand at so many different genres throughout the last 10 years of his musical career, delivers a powerful track which neatly embodies the spirit of the IDWT label, its sonic message of dark tones and mystic vibrations. “Fetichismo” brings a cadenced rhythmic pattern and -with its masterly arranged deep and sharp harmonies- impeccably epitomises the perfect dancefloor banger. The single’s fullness is emphasized by the presence of provocative and titillating female vocals, under which’s guidance Valmaiin is able to thoroughly tell his sonic story. Valmaiin and his Fetichismo, the next big thing on IDWT (In Dark We Trust).
