A native of Kilmeaden, Waterford, Leonid (real name Paul Smith) became interested in electronic music from a young age along with twin brother Alan. During this period in the nineties Waterford City was spoilt with legendary House/Techno nights such as Cant Stop and Man Fridays in The Roxy and Metroland along with Sir Henry's of Cork an hour and a half away. So weekly visits to these venues became a passion and it wasnt long before Leonid began buying turntables, vinyl and production equipment to pave his own path in the Irish electronic music scene. Currently residing in Madrid, Leonid regularly DJ's around Spain and Europe and releases vinyl on various European/US labels.

Italian Benny Blanco steps out with his exciting new STEB alias for a new EP on Night Vibez Records that comes with remixes from Memoryman Aka Uovo and Brine. Blanco has been lighting up the scene for over 15 years. He has never been far from the top of the Beatport charts since releasing his standout Staraya EP and always comes with a fresh and inventive style.
Brine is a new and upcoming talent and his remix is a complete rework that results in broken beats and old-school piano chords. A spine-tingling breakdown features some tender vocal whispers before the loose percussive beats strike once more.

Amsterdam's LOVE APE joins us for our eighth release, bringing his organic and melodic production to the Sawah Indah EP. Inspired by a visit to Bali, the tropical atmosphere infects each track with a warmth and depth, showcasing the producer's talent for creating a mood that's both languid and energised. 'Beachnap' could be a lost DFC Records classic, channeling the famous Italian label's best dreamy house moments with a track that is pure modern balearica. Breathy vocals and organic melodies kiss together as heavenly rhodes keys lead the dance. 'Dance With The Apes' chugs into late night territory; with intoxicating swirling synths, ethnic percussion and a steamy ambience that drives the tension up. 'Ricefields' is a deeper, contemplative jam again rich in atmosphere. Joe Morris chills the mood out further on 'Beachnap', slowing the tempo while sprinkling a touch of acid for a mellow remix to complement the deep red sun as it dips behind a sparkling horizon. Gold Suite completes the Indonesian connection, the Bali based artist turns out a superlative reworking of 'Dance With The Apes'. With great musicality and structure, additional guitars and strings are brought to the fore making for an emotive and joyful finish to the release.

He'd become a master in the art of lying; his charm, wit and good looks helped him in that arena. The lines had blurred so much between fact and fiction that he almost believed his own tall tales these days - he'd created a persona that was so far removed from the way he used to be. Many of his old friends no longer felt like they knew him; his priorities had changed and somewhere along the road he'd lost himself.

Art punk ravers The Umlauts are following up their recent release for PRAH Recordings with a remix package featuring several producers and label alumni. Each bringing their own styles to the table, and all a perfect fit to amp up the frenzied energy of the originals, the EP rallies the likes of London based sound-designer Yuri Suzuki, Teleman drummer Hiro Ama and duo Uh, among many others. 

Speaking about Yuri Suzuki's track, the band said: "Yuri Suzuki’s remix of The Fact was pure joy to hear, we love it. It remedies the samba punk of the original with pure unfettered dance groove. Am I tapping my foot? Yes. Am I nodding my head? Yes again. Am I doing a slightly awkward side step? Indeed I am, oh yes. Yuri is the perfect birthing partner. Go and listen to everything else he has made, listen twice, it’s all brilliant."

A set of abstract works combining field recordings, piano, and modular synthesizers.
Some of the tracks were performed in 2025 at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, as part of Hiroya’s performance that fused music, visuals, and lasers.
