Summer 18', two heartbroken buds find relief in music, psychedelics, and city palm trees. What started as a way to ease the grief of a heartbreak turned into a wildly mystic duo, a project formed by Eder Solorio (@GlobemasterMx) and Chris Puga (Cumbia Xillers), where percussions, tropical rhythms and the use of synthesizers are the key to go into trance with their sound.
Depresión Tropical :( plays with negative feelings, transforms and celebrates them, where no matter how sad, lonely and desolate you are, you will always end up dancing.
Human heat as a form of energy, in a dance floor where the sun is always up. Man becomes animal to the beat of happy synths and subsonic bass.
Selva neón are the rhythms of a solarpunk future that has surpassed human-kind. Nature and technology are now living together among tribe war cries, more synths and jungle-ish club vibes.

Taking us on a journey of neo-nostalgia for ZF003 is Northern UK artist REES. “This was an entertaining EP to make, the majority was me sitting down in my studio hitting record and jamming until something sat right. There wasn’t a huge amount of gear involved just an Arturia Keylab MIDI keyboard, my VSTs and the occasional Roland TR-8” - REES.

A prophet is not one who has some special visions, but one who is blind to most of what others see.
French producer World Wild Web joins forces with Indian vocalist Tritha Sinha for a psychedelic trip into the garden of electronic bliss on HIFI/LOFI Records, backed by two remixes from long-time DFA collaborator The Juan MacLean, and label boss Franz Matthews.
World Wild Web was founded in late 2018 after years of playing various instruments and leading the psychedelic band Blondi’s Salvation, the need for fresh inspiration and more artistic freedom pushed him to explore electronic music and its flexibility. His recent studies of Indian music opened up new paths for his musical creations which he is now exploring with Goa based artist Tritha who first met in 2014 at a traveling caravan festival in the South of France while touring with their respective bands. Tritha has 25 years of Indian classical music experience under her belt and is also part of the Indo-French psychedelic rock band Tritha Electric, and the Indian woman collective SPACE in addition to running sound healing workshops that conducted in India and throughout the world. In the summer of 2019, they came up with a mesmerizing set of tracks, uniting their two very different cultures into an enlightening sonic adventure which drop on HIFI/LOFI Records this July.
‘Prophet’ showcases World Wild Web’s colourful production style featuring an organic conglomerate of distinct global influences from experimental dance music, 70s psych, African electronic, Indian music and Acid House. Tritha’s mystical vocals entice you throughout above the broken, natural percussion and oscillating sonics.The track is inspired by Sufism, a spiritual branch of Islam highlighting the need of seeing spirituality as an evolution and engagement with the inner spirt of every soul.

This initiative tackles food waste and redistributes food surplus to charities helping provide meals to those in need in Italy, which are relied upon more than ever in response to this unprecedented moment of crisis. At the heart of the compilation and the artists who have contributed is a double mission: to support
those who in this moment of need still have an essential right to food, and also for these artists to be recognised by Italian social and cultural institutions, which for the most part still do not see us
as entirely ‘professional' figures. All proceeds from sales of the compilation and individual tracks up 31 August 2020 will be donated to the charity.

Here comes the second release on DDE series, this time it will be a 3-track EP and a fresh collaboration between two rising stars from the Budapest scene, CT Kidobó & LAU with an additional remix by Hamburg-based producer L.F.T.
These two artists started working together in 2019, and although their approach is different with CT Kidobó’s attention to detail and LAU’s more intuitive approach, the process of making music was an easy ride, and it is amazing how their styles complement each other creating crazy soundwaves.
The songs could rather be described as hard hitting electro on the edge of bumping rave as the first track XTC, this one will fire up the dancefloor when we can go again to the clubs or warehouses. Mental Vortex is more serious, no joking, but a groovy ride into the dark side of Electro. Last but not least L.F.T. is connected to this with his classic punky new wave remix of Mental Vortex.
DDE02 comes out on very limited 10inch lathe cut record with numbered risograph print designed by Studio Jetski, and printed by BPZines.
