BudaMunk Profile :
BudaMunk ( ブダモンク )。新宿生まれ。16歳でLos Angelesに渡り、後にDJやビートメイクを始める。2004年に、現在Delicious Vinyl周辺で活躍するMC / ビートメイカーのJoe Styles、OYG(Down North Camp)と、Keentokersとしての活動を開始。Keentokersとしては、Live Radioなどと共にSoul Jugglerz というクルーを結成し、LAアンダーグラウンドのステージで活躍。BudaMunk個人としても、Dibia$eら現在世界のビートシーンを牽引する、当時のローカルプロデューサーとビートセッションを重ね、LAでのビートバトルで日本人として初の優勝を勝ち取る。2006年に帰国後、Jazzy Sportに所属。現在の日本国内のビートシーンにも多大なる影響を与えたビートバトル” Goldfinger's Kitchen 2008 ”での優勝に輝く。その後、Jazzy SportやDogear Recordsからの作品をリリースし、現在はSick Teamとして活動を共にする5lack ( S.L.A.C.K. )やISSUGIとのプロダクション、自身のソロの作品を発表。2011年以降は、Sick Teamの衝撃的なデビューを背景に、mabanuaとのユニット・Green Butterとして作品を発表し、企業CMの音楽を担当する傍ら、さらに深いアンダーグラウンドな動きも活発化させ活動の幅を広げてきた。そして、海外プロデューサーとのセッション、ビートメイクを繰り返し、2014年には日本に居ながらにしてLos Angeles時代の夢でもあった、USの老舗レーベルDelicious Vinylからのリリースを行った。今年2015年にBudaMunkのソロ名義として2nd ALBUMとなる『 The Corner 』 をリリースする。
