The 44 Fires evolved from a collective desire to return to the musical roots of each of our band members:

Guitarist Jay and Drummer Aaron had been in bands which spanned musical genres in many projects over the course of their careers, from Metal to Thrash – but a realisation that cover bands would bring no glory created that spark.


Dan and now Tony Hampton has moved on
