To anyone reading this rn, I have absolutely no idea what you're going through right now. You might feel like you've finally gotten to a decent spot in life after clearing a big hurdle, totally lost and disillusioned in a world that changes faster than ever, nervous for the midterm you have to take in a couple of hours, crossed as fuck with friends blasting this in your car, or grieving the loss of a loved one. 

Point is, the spectrum of things that anyone can be experiencing at a certain moment of time is so vast that we'll never be able to truly know what any other person is going through, or has gone through. And that is where I see the beauty of humanity in. The fact that you know NOTHING about the person you walk past but also know that ANYTHING could've happened to them. The fact that you and I are here by the ongoing result of a never ending chain of causation that is linked with events so unknowing and even alien to each other.

But in the world today, I feel like this beauty isn't recognized. How? Because we're so quick to judge. We're consumed by our own egos to the point that we, without a second doubt, confidently bet on a 1/∞ chance of our assumption about another person being true within their universe of infinite possibilities. And I know I'm talking about this, but of course I'm guilty as well, and you are too. Who has never judged in their lives? No one. Why is it so fucking hard to believe in that 99.9% chance?

In the world today, I feel like there is a severe lack of empathy - and we're right where it wants us to be. You can feel it too right? That spiral of hatred that eats away at any chance of social harmony, shuts down any attempt at understanding one another's feelings, and leaves you feeling like you're fighting all alone against everyone else, who are merely beasts that only want to take the good away from you. We've all felt it. But don't you dare let anything you see make you believe that we're simply evil, greedy, and destructive. This is an inevitable consequence of the natural conditioning of our modern world. We're fucking beautiful dude. When you see the beauty, it doesn't make sense to even judge those that judge, and hate those that hate. But of course, it's not that easy of a feat to achieve.

This is where I come in. I make music so that when you listen, that process can become even a tiny bit easier. You probably learned in your physics class that energy cannot be created or destroyed. If the notes that I've written and sounds that I put together to make this song invigorates any part of you, I've successfully transferred over my energy to you. And when that happens, you now have the power to dance and laugh with your friends, pick up a plastic bag from the ground and throw it away, compliment a stranger's outfit, and try again on something that you've failed before. You can transfer that same energy I transferred over to you. And when you do, that's when I know I've fulfilled my purpose as a artist that you listen to, and that's how we can start slowly unfucking this seemingly fucked world.
